Whitman’s Catering

We had a great experience with Whitman’s. They did a post wedding brunch for us for 125 people. The food was fresh and tasty, they came on time and did a great set up. Traci stayed to help us for the duration and she was great. I have not tried their food other than the continental breakfast, but I am sure it would be great.

I have used and recommended these people for my friends and family members weddings, events and even used them for office parties. You go to some places and they are very scatter-​brained and not really in the communication loop and run late but, this little company is the opposite they are very well organized, communicate through the whole process and are reliable and on time. they even provide silver ware, plates, tablecloths, napkins and other items to make your life easier (when you are the party planner/​hostess) — they also ask if you need waiters/​waitstaff for your event. Some of the items we have used at our events are the baked Brie, the swedish meatballs (which the guys couldn’t get enough of), crab dip, chesapeake tempura (really delicious rockfish bites, yum!), pulled bbq pork (they provide buns), Italian Sausage & peppers, Stuffed Porchini mushrooms, Lasagna, Mariner & Greek Salad, Beef & Boursin and their pies. We have even had them come and do a brunch w/​breakfast foods for the company. They brought plenty with them and were on time to pick up their equipment– they were absolutely wonderful and their prices are reasonable when you are in need of a caterer for a very large group of people. During holidays and month of June plan in advance and they will take care of you as if you were their own family.
