The husband and I stop at this place on our way out of town. Had been passing by it for a few years and just never had time to stop in. This is what I have to say. It was very good sushi for all you can eat. It was decently priced. The waiter was very, very helpful we sat down stairs so didn’t get to try the boats but did go up and look at them. Very unique never seen anything like it. I would absolutely recommend this to someone passing thru town for a great date night idea. If we ever get a chance to stop again we definitely will.

Best sushi in the Green Bay area! I love the creativity of the maki! The service is second to none. My only complaint is that the shrimp inside the rolls with shrimp tempura are so small you cannot even taste shrimp. Hopefully they just got a batch of super small shrimp with their last purchase and it’s not the norm.

I’ve been to every corner of the country and have tried sushi almost everywhere. Some of the strangest places have the best sushi. Island sushi wins by a very close margin to Basil’s in Williston North Dakota. To sum it up quickly, their staff is A+ material, the food is A+, décor and atmosphere is pleasant and fitting. It has a tropical theme, and all but music fits perfectly. Music is alternative rock/pop and good for almost anyone. The bar is well stocked and tended by knowledgeable tenders, and the sushi chefs are skilled and friendly. Wednesday is date night! Bring someone and it’s $ 40 with two drinks and all you can eat. They got these cute little boats which hold sushi for everyone to share. I’ve been here about a dozen times in the last 3 months, and I’ve never, ever had a bad experience. If you go based on my recommendation, tell the owner I sent you. He’s a super friendly guy who runs a damn fine business, and he treats his customers like friends.

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it! We came in for a late lunch on a Saturday, and there was not wait to go upstairs for the all-you-can-eat boats. For those who haven’t been there, you get to order any sushi roll you want, you get half that roll, and the other half gets put on plates and on a circle of boats that float around and you are able to try any of the other rolls on the boats. It’s a great way to try new rolls without having to order a full one. The sushi quality is above average, I wish there wasn’t so much cream cheese in many of them, but overall the taste and variety was very good. I had a mimosa as well, pretty weak alcohol-wise, but tasty. We also ordered the two desserts, deep fried oreos and cheesecake rangoons(we ordered two of each flavor, as you get 8 pieces and there are four flavors to choose from). My boyfriend enjoyed the dessert rangoons. I have a wicked sweet tooth and just wasn’t a fan of the greasy dessert options as both of them are fried. I wish there was another dessert option to choose from that wasn’t fried in some way. Overall a great experience with good food, and interesting«boat» consept to try a variety of rolls, and the staff was amazing!!! Will be back again!
