This place is definitely your«whole in a wall» restaurant. It’s really small but the customer service was great. I was greeted with a warm welcome. The parking sucks though. I ordered a Cuban sandwhich and it was amazing. I’m definitely going back to this place in the near future. I’m a fan of Sazon Latino Restaurant.

Pretty good food. Very cozy atmosphere and nice people. I’d go there again but the parking is a little crazy for my taste. Great Cuban though! !!!

A little hole in the wall but clean and neat inside. Bathroom very clean. The best part is the food! We had the empanadas, which were delicious. We both had the soup, it was chicken with potatoes and cubes of a white cheese in it. Doesn’t sound good but it was out of this world! I had the permit arena and my wife had the cubanito. Again, delicious! Server was extremely pleasant and attentive. We will definately be back.

We drove from Los Angeles to Key West and when we passed Daytona, this was our lunch spot. The empanadas and the café con leche were delicious!!! The service was great and the people who run the restaurant too. If I ever come back to this area, I would definitely eat here again.

Greasy food, horrible parking and very slow service. The sign says Latin Food, but it should be specific because their fare is Venezuelan food and badly made. For Americans who don’t know good Spanish food I guess it’s okay. Notice that none of the other comments are from Latinos who know good food. My advise is: Stay Away! The comment left by the owner is totally inaccurate. He’s one of those who cannot accept criticism. The comment he makes reference to is from another owner just like him. As a matter of fact my wife said nothing to you. My advise to everyone is the same: Stay away, far away!

This place is a definite hole in the wall but the food is fabulous! The staff was very friendly and it’s family owned. Will definitely go back when I can eat carbs. Haha.

So glad my lady found this place… Went there twice during a week vacation at D.B. Both times had the soup a sandwich combo… Cuban sandwich: 4 out of 5 Steak Sandwich: 5 of 5 Coffee: 5 of 5 Juices were a bit sweet but my partner liked it. Best part was the customer service… on our first trip we purchased some home made sugar cookies and fell in love with them… went back today and she didn’t have any. She later said«I really ought to make some» as we were seated… by the time we were having out coffee she surprised us with two fresh from the oven. We purchased another bag and should have purchased them as for that gesture alone was sweet and kind and should be emulated. If you’re in Daytona beach, hit up Sazon for lung(they close at 4p) and Tia cori for a light dinner…

If your looking for lunch in Daytona with a Latin flavor this place is down home Latin cooking. In the same spot as a previous Latin restaurant that out it on the map I was surprised how good the food was and how fast the service was. Had a Latin sopa de lentil and a cubanito sandwich. Enjoyed the meal and Latin ambience. Good place for a weekday lunch.

Me and hubby stopped here for lunch and it was great. Both had Cuban sandwiches. Mine was ½ sandwich with a salad. Salad was very good also. Just right.

The place to try some traditional Venezuelan anda Cubano treats. Great service although the place can be hard to find. Don’t miss the arepas, tequeños and Cuban sandwich!!!

This is a must-visit for delicious authentic Latino cuisine! The tostones and the arepas were phenomenal. I can tell that each meal is prepared from the heart! Our service was very prompt and there was only one waiter on the floor. He did an awesome job of taking care of his customers. I will most certainly make this a stop each time I’m in the Daytona area.

Fabulous. A tiny, family run restaurant serving delicious Latino food at very reasonable prices. We’ve enjoyed the beef pabellon, grilled chicken, steak sandwich and the cubanito. The seating area is small, but we go for lunch and have always been seated right away.

Great Empanadas, lentil soup is one of the best I’ve had. Good service. Beef with rice and sweet plantains was very good. The coffee is great too. Small quite local restaurant and great value. Made my day.

This little Venezuelan sandwich shop is kind of hard to find for non locals to the area. Fortunately for me, my brother lived in the area for a couple years and we were able to enjoy the amazing food here. The steak sandwich is the thing to get if you like a tasty, crunchy sandwich. Slices of sirloin are melted with cheese and pressed nicely between two slices of bread. It was very affordable as well. Definitely will be coming back!

This place is delicious. Tender chicken, sautéed onions with a side of salad greens, avacado, etc with a creamy dressing and sweet plantains. Huge portion, ridiculously cheap prices and quality ingredients. Really great meal!

Had the pabellon — black beans had great flavor as did the shredded beef. You’re not giving stars for ambiance here, it’s in a converted house on a busy street with simple settings. But the food was spot on. My in-laws are Puerto Rican and their sweet plaintains(mofongo) was delicious. I think they also have tostones(garlicky smashed plaintains) which I bet would be good too. This place is/was categorized as Venezuelan. I don’t think there is anything particularly Venezuelan about it. It looks like a mix of Cuban/Puerto Rican/Carribean/Latin flavors.

Papi chulo! Went in for a quick Cuban. Best I’ve had in town. Good sized and it came with a tasty little cup of chicken vegetable soup. They also brought me two creamy hot sauces, red and green. Green was cilantro with garlic and onion, and I couldn’t put it down. Everything was fresh and home made. Didn’t have any, but the coffee smelled great. I’ll be back to try some of their Venezuelan dishes.

Don’t judge the book by its cover. This restaurant would be a testimony to that adage. The exterior had this run down look which would make you look around for another place to eat but take that leap inside and you would not be disappointed. It’s a family owned restaurant which is a year old. The kitchen is right at the entrance. We were in Daytona for the weekend and wanted to try something new. We ordered tamales, vegetable patagones, sweet plantains and fish fillet. Tamales was a new experience and it had a ridged texture to it. They have a green mint flavored sauce and a red spicy sauce. Both of them tasted homemade. Patagones tasted very earthy. Although, the base used in the dish was fried — it wasn’t oily. Sweet plantains was well cooked and tasted really nice. Café latte packed in more espresso — just tha way I like it. Tres de leche was just so good. It literally melted in the mouth. Bottom line: home cooked tasty meal and desserts. Give it a shot and prove me wrong !

I’ll be back! Good food and good service. I had the Pabellon(shredded beef) and a delicious cup of lentil soup while I waited for my meal. The only down side is that parking is horrible.
