The BEST burger in town, hands down. Great service, our waitress Melissa (Missy) was AWESOME. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a local place with great food and good prices. Sean, the grill master is the BEST. Couldn’t ask for anything better!

Had the wings charcoal grilled with there homemade hot sauce which was amazing. While I was eating the cook came by an asked if I ever had there pimp sauce OMG. There sauce is so amazing. I asked if they bottled it so I could take some home. Can’t wait to go back to Daytona beach!

Looking for a break from seafood so we stopped in for a burger. The reviews were spot on. Service was friendly and fast. We all had burgers and they were tasty. Had grill flavor to them. The fries were also good. This is not a fancy place and probably needs some upgrading, but we had a good experience. We are planning on going back in the spring and we will definitely stop in again

We were on a short visit to Daytona and were looking for a local place with great food! We heard about the Brickyard and thought we would give it a try. When we first arrived we were wondering if we should go in. A very small place from the outside. Once we entered we loved it! We were immediately greeted with a smile and the memorabilia displayed around the place was sweet! We ordered their burger and LOVED IT! one of the best I have had. It was a great experience all around!

Went there before the visit at Daytona Speedway — the brickyard is a typical sports or better Nascar Bar with excellent Burgers and the chicken wings are really worth it.
Service is fast and the ambient is really once in the world. All this Nascar Stuff and exellent food, a place to be for racers!

I tried mild wings grilled with a side of Hot. Oh boy! That hot sauce is amazing! So much flavor. I was told by the cook that takes 4hrs to make that hot sauce.

My colleagues and I love to try to find new restaurants. So, on National Burger Day, we decided to try a place known to locals and tourists alike as THE place to go for burgers. The Brickyard Lounge and Grill did not disappoint!
We all ordered the same thing — the single stack burger. It came with a large portion of french fries and coleslaw, both very good. The burger was cooked just right. Juicy without being too greasy. It was a great size! I scarfed everything down in what seemed like record timing. The server actually congratulated me on finishing the entire meal!
The atmosphere matches the «lounge and grill» title, and was definitely not lacking in ‘90s NASCAR memorabilia. But we’re in Daytona so it works. The service was good — not excellent, but not terrible. I will definitely be back!

The service was really good. This place is definitely a dive bar but it’s not my type of place. There’s just something about this place that’s not my cup of tea. There are a few other places I’d choose over this place.

Don’t be dissuaded by the outside of this building. It’s a cute diner atmosphere inside and the burgers are very good. Fair prices and friendly server, too. We’ll be back.

This is one of our go to places every year when we visit Daytona! The wings are aweosme. We get garlic parm grilled with hot on the side and it is to die for. We often have a hard time deciding between the wings and a burger because they are both good. We usually get wings and split a burger.
Our server Karen is the best. She is a little firecracker and knows everyone and everyone knows her. She is hospitable and another reason we go there once or twice during the week we are visiting.
Go there you will not be disappointed :)

Quality meat, big burgers! I always come here and can never get enough. the cook is never stingy with food and gives generously.

The burger was great , service was on point. Cool place. Its better than just s 3 but not quiet a 4.

This is bar food but the one thing that keeps me coming back is their hamburgers. Hands down the best around. It’s a very busy lunch crowd so I go at night. Racing theme. Friendly service. Prices not bad.

Waitresses friendly, cook welcomed us and asked if we had ever been and then recommended the burgers… better than 5 guys and that says a lot cause I love 5 guys burger and fries. The fries were seasoned and I ate every bit. The décor of the place was also very casual. I was nice to see it be super busy and yet 2 waitresses would constantly check on everyone. Fully intend on going back one day.

Will not go back again. Went early evening on a Sunday. The food was mediocre, the service was bad. Our server, in her defense, was new; but the attitude of other servers and managers proved they do not believe in working as a team. It took our server 20 minutes to find out that yes, they did carry Pelligrino (but they were out) and to deliver the drink order (party of 3, 2 iced teas and a water with lemon). The food items took another 20+ minutes to arrive, in the interim the drinks ran dry. All of the food arrived at once; from its appearance, the appetizer had sat in the window a while. Food items did not match their menu descriptions.

I have eaten here a few times as I was passing through Daytona. This will be THE last time at this establishment.
Ordering a plain cheddar cheeseburger has never been more difficult.
Ordered a burger with cheddar cheese only — medium well.
Waited awhile but not a biggie since everyone else was waiting too.
Got a burger and cut it in half and noticed that it was rare — sent it back.
After some time got a burger back that was NOT cut in half (like I sent back to the grill) and with American cheese on it and — and it HAD A BITE TAKEN OUT OF IT!!! It was someone else’s burger. During the chaos, another burger shows up that is cut and half but with let/​tom/​onions/​pickles. Sent both back. Spoke with the owner and he tried to tell me that it was the way they pattied out the burgers. THINK AGAIN!!! There was another guy in there that had sent his back. I was given his and he was given mine. And they were ok with the fact that I had already touched this burger that they were going to give it to the guy that it belonged too! That is NOT acceptable! The owner was condescending and would not even listen to everything that had transpired. He stated in an arrogant manner that he has been doing this for 26 years. Then wouldn’t you think he would know to offer me a burger that was already on the grill? His arrogance really shined through. His options after already waiting 45 minutes were:
Wait 12 – 14 minutes for another or we could get our check and go elsewhere — REALLY!!!
Our server let me know that I was not going to have to wait, and that they were going to grab one off the grill for me. So when I finally got another burger it was wrong AGAIN — American cheese. Sent it back and when the server went and checked the ticket and gave it to the grillmaster, I got another burger…(drum roll)…4^th burger… and it was WRONG AGAIN! Frustrated and starving, I finally stated that I would scrape off the cheese and told them to give me a piece of cheddar cheese. Waiting an hour for a burger and fries, unacceptable. Which, by the way the owner appears to be is a self absorbed, arrogant, money hungry person. He barks orders at his hard working staff who are already running around ragged. I will say this, the server we had, Traci was a very hard working and very embarrassed that they couldn’t get a simple burger right. And was very apologetic. If you know you are going to be busy, pay for extra help! No need to be greedy.
To top it all off… as if that wasn’t enough… if you don’t listen to anything in this review, check out how this place washes the cups you drink out of. They have two Rubbermaid bins behind the bar that they dip the cup into and then move it to the next bin to rinse off. If the burger wasn’t enough to turn you off, the cup washing should be.
While he bragged about being in this business for 26 years, I will say that I have been eating out for 35 years plus and this was by far the WORST eating out experience EVER!

My girlfriend and I have eaten here several times. I’ve never eaten a better cheeseburger ANYWHERE — including Key West. However, you have to go there during the following hours: Tuesday through Saturday from 3 PM — 10 PM to have your burger, steak, whatever you want grilled by Jimmy. ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTE! Seriously!!!
Jimmy cooked the first 3 cheeseburgers I ate at the Brickyard and they were beyond delicious! Then we went in one afternoon when Jimmy had the day off. It wasn’t terrible, but it was undercooked and had none of the special taste of Greek seasoning and Worcestershire seasoning.
You’ll never taste better French fries or cole slaw (Jimmy makes his own)!
All in all, the Brickyard is a great place to eat! And don’t forget to check out the numerous photos lining the walls — especially if you’re a NASCAR fan.

The burgers have remained just as good as they have been in the past but after reading Alex C’s review — I will have to agree with him and here is my take of what we experienced a few weeks ago.
My hubs was sitting under one of the vents towards the front of the restaurant directly across from the cook station. He noticed that cold water was dropping onto his arm and he decided to look up. So, we both looked up and we noticed a very moldy vent. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since 1962.
So, when I start looking around out of sheer boredom, I noticed the cook handling the plastic forks and knives with his bare hands and then, after touching the blade of the plastic knife, he inserted it into someone’s cole slaw. I’m aware that oftentimes food is handled with bare hands but it seems that just about everything is handled improperly here — leading to a bad case of cross contamination.
Overall, the prices have increased significantly for the area — the single burger basket was originally $ 7.95 and has increased to $ 9.95 — should you want any additional toppings, they come at a premium of approximately $ 1 (for cheese). The burgers are good, but, come either undercooked or overcooked — no where near what you asked for. I will also add that BL is not a family friendly establishment; it is merely a bar with tables added.

I don’t know if they have never seen a hispanic/​asian relationship because I kept getting weird looks by the waitress and a regular as they whispered and laughed.
Burger is good. High quality beef. It actually is sweet like a bison burger. This burger reminds me of the naked bison burger from Ted’s Montana. Toppings like cheese are 1 $ extra. They put too many pickles and onions. They let you put basic ketchup and mustard. Prices on Unilocal menu are way off!!!
Air conditioning was weak. The fans barely cool anything.
:HEALTH HAZARD:
I was really upset when my wife had water condensation leaking on her from a dirty vent. We looked up and the vent had black mold on it (very dangerous to your health). Every vent had mold. Totally unacceptable. Do not sit under a vent.
