Good food at a decent price! I like the ambiance just fine… beef quality was good as well as the vegetarian roll and rice. Waitress was sweet. Will be going again!

This place was quite a surprise. I was raised in Dayton and have always loved sushi and wished it was available locally. Finally it is. Really was better than expected for such a small town. They don’t have an extensive nigiri collection but what they did have and all the rolls were quite good. We will definitely be back.

Fresh, hot, tasty. Good sushi in an unlikely area. Single dining room that is a little loud but come for the food. Service was good.

They put some weird sauce over the meat that’s not like any other Japanese place. To me, it tasted like gravy. Lol. Without that part, all good. Little pricey but not to bad. Overall it’s OK, but not awsome.

For a small town in TN, not bad. I’m from Florida so I’m a bit of a sushi snob. But, they did OK.

We were excited to have this open here in Dayton. 3 of us went on a Saturday night at about 7 pm. We entered and stood around for 10 minutes before anyone even said anything to us. Then waited for a table to empty for another 10 min. Once seated we got our drinks fairly quick. But when appetizers arrived we had to ask twice for silverware and chopsticks. The food was good but the restaurant lacks in service until after you get your food then we were asked 14 times if we wanted soda refills. It lacks in looks too. Felt like I was in a 50 ‘s restaurant. Without the cool stuff on the wall. But the food was good enough for a second visit.

We had dinner on Christmas Eve and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The sushi rolls were beautifully presented(we had the Volcano, Dragon, Dinosaur, and Spicy Tuna). My husband also ordered the shrimp udon which he wasn’t thrilled with; it lacked much flavor, although I tasted the noodles and they were very good.. big, fat, and perfectly cooked, but again, the broth lacked something. The food took a long time to get to us but they haven’t been open long so I’m sure they’re still in «shake down» mode. The atmosphere is drab and needs lots more decorating and maybe they need to get those giant yellow dispensers(I’ve never seen any so big!) off the tables; they really cheapen the look of the place. My expectations weren’t high(come on.. this is Dayton, Tennessee) and they were definitely exceeded. We’ll be back.
