Shame on you for charging my 80 year old mother over $ 600 dollars for clearing a clog in her sink and replacing a faucet when you could have replaced a hose! Rip Off!

I called them about 7:30 pm. By 8:30 pm a technician, Tim, was at my house. Tim was very courteous and professional. The drain was cleaned and working again shortly. Thank you for the prompt service.

Responded quickly. Get other estimates! Estimated $ 3500 to dig 3ft. deep and 8ft. long and replace pipe and this would not have completely solved our problem. I had someone else do the job for $ 700.

They«lost» my work order and had no record of me even placing a work order with them. After about 4 hours, they finally showed up and wanted to charge me close to $ 300.00 to snake a drain. ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I could buy a professional snake kit for much less than that. Price gouging is what that is. Stay away from roto rooter. They used to be a great company, but now they’ve changed into a company that doesn’t like repeat customers. BEWARE!

Excellent service from Roto-Rooter as usual. I have to call them about once every 2 years and they have always been prompt and performed excellent work. The gentleman that they sent this time was excellent and didn’t give up when the first attempt to clear the line on our kitchen sink and clothes washer drain was locked up. Everything is back to normal now and we are back to washing dishes and clothes. My only complaint would be the prices. They have gone up considerably in the last two years. If the trend continues I may have to look to other options. But, to have running water again is sometimes worth whatever cost.

Pros: 1) They come quickly in an emergency. 2) They are open on holidays Cons: 1) They are literally twice as expensive as other most other local drain cleaners. 2) They were messy. Used no tarps and the machine they were using leaked grease on my carpet. 3) Short version: they are lazy and take the path of least resistance. Long version: There is a difficult to access 4″ sewer clean-out in my basement — instead of accessing that for a full clean, they accessed the 3″ cleanout through my stack which is an inferior clean. If I had been home at the time of the service I would’ve said something but alas I was not. 4) They charge per service so if your sewer backs up into your toilet, they will charge you $ 250 for cleaning out the sewer and $ 250 for unclogging the toilet. 5) They recommend expensive and unnecessary services. Call a local plumber or drain cleaner and pay substantially less for higher quality work. In an emergency — they might be your only option… unfortunately.
