Random rhetorical question — is anybody who loves this place from the West Coast? Well, I am, and their Phở was not very good. It’s all about the broth, and this one was bland. Had the house Phở, and the meat wasn’t tasty either. Required more Sriracha than usual, and that magic sauce couldn’t push it to a 3. The wife’s Bahn Mi was quite average as well. The prices were low which was nice since at least I only left disappointed, not pissed off. Small place, packed at lunch since little Vietnamese competition in the area.

Very tasty and modestly priced food served correctly, courteously, and promptly. Though the facilities are modest, it was clean and comfortable on a cold day. It was sour second visit – but the first in a long time. It seemed to us that they have built a strong clientele and have found their groove. For the price it really merits a 5th star but I reserve such a rating for very few establishments. This will now be a go to place while in the Dayton mall area.

It’s my first time n very disappointed. I ordered bubble green tea and the no. 92 in the menu. Tapioca in the tea were hard, maybe they don’t know how to make bubble tea, I guess. and the food I orders was terrible. The noodle wasnt cook all the way still hard to chewed. I put sauce on it thought it might helps but it doesn’t, I asked the waitress if she able to gives me the new one but they didn’t. I know cause of I saw the sauce i put in the bottom. They gave me the one that return to the kitchen. Very very poor quality! And just only 5 tiny little pieces of pork. Seriously??? Later the waiter came to apologized I said it’s ok, it wasn’t his fault. But I won’t ever eat there again!

I like this place better than Linhs. The ingredients seem better. I go here at least twice a month. Spring rolls are very good. Phở is amazing.

Great food, great service, and right price, I would give six stars if I can. Definitely going to try their spring roll and summer roll, they are way much better than chinese rolls. I had two spring rolls, two shrimp summer rolls, one order butterfly chicken, and a bowl of special house bf noodle soup for only around $ 18 bill. They also have food viet sandwich and bubble tea.

I travel to Miamisburg once a month for work. Miamisburg, Ohio. Oh, you’ve never heard of it? Shocking. This small suburb of Dayton isn’t known for their thriving diversity. However, the food options are impressive! Thanks to Unilocal,I found Phở Mi and ordered their shrimp summer rolls(without pork) and vermicelli noodles with lemongrass tofu & veggies, extra spicy. I used to work at a Vietnamese restaurant so I am happy to report that my meal was fresh, authentic and spicyyyyy! The summer rolls had the right balance of cilantro & basil and the lemongrass spice was strong. I wish the to-go order didn’t include the iceberg lettuce salad underneath the noodles but by the time I got to the bottom, I was full & satisfied. The price can NOT be beat! Under $ 10 for my entire meal! Today’s lunch break was my second visit and I fully intend on getting lunch here during each of my business trips! Well done!

I had dinner there last night and it was OK. Had the #3 Bi Quon shredded pork rice paper summer roll for an appetizer, and it was OK… a little tough and chewy though. And enjoyed the #22 Phở Dac Biet House Special Combo Beef Soup as the main course, and wasn’t bad at all. Probably the most beef I’ve found in any Phở soup I’ve had in years. But the broth was a little off… still tasted good and I ate the whole thing! Wish I had more bean sprouts, but I did ask for more of the sliced HOT green peppers, and they were great. Had a Tsing Tao beer, and that washed it all down! Probably will go back… as this may be the only game in town. ;-)

The best compliment I can give this place is it wasn’t terrible. But it definitely wasn’t great.

New to the Dayton area, I was excited to find a phở place nearby. I’ve enjoyed phở in various restaurants from LA to Indianapolis, and this experience comes up somewhere near the middle to the bottom of the list. Service was quick, the butterfly chicken appetizer a delicious addition to the meal, and the phở itself on the right side of yum. I think what keeps me from giving a higher rating was the boba, as for whatever reason it just didn’t quite hit the spot. All in all though, this is a very good, economical place to get your phở fix. I will definitely be back, I will just opt out of the tea order.

Given this is the only Phở place Ina 30 – 40 mile radius, it hits the spot. Coming from SF Bay Area where Phở places are a dime a dozen, this place will cure a craving, not the greatest but beggars can’t be choosers.

I came here with my wife because of the positive Unilocal reviews. We were a bit skeptical because Asian food in Dayton has not generally satisfied our palettes, but we really miss good Vietnamese food and I was hopeful. Well, this place didn’t really exceed our expectations. The food was generally bland. We had the special phở, the pork chop platter, and an appetizer. Nothing was offensive, but neither did anything make us want to return. For Dayton, this might be a satisfactory Vietnamese restaurant, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who has known better.

This was my first Phở experience. We knew we were going to be in Dayton so we were Unilocaling around to see where we may want to grab a bite and decided on Phở Mi because not only had we both never had Phở(and wanted to try it) but this place had good reviews. The restaurant is nothing fancy, which I kind of like. We were seated right away and offered menus from a very attentive and patient waiter. Since we were unsure of what to order we ordered the appetizer sampler. It was good, I liked the butterfly chicken the best and the shish-kabob I would skip. Next, I ordered Phở Tai, a beef noodle soup, since it was listed as the house special. It was good, but relatively bland. However, this is most likely my fault since I played it so safe in my ordering. My boyfriend, however, was more adventurous and ordered Hu Tieu Tom Thit State, a spicy shrimp and pork state noodle soup. This was spicy! But really good. I loved the flavor added by the bean sprouts and cilantro they serve with the soup for you to add to your preference. But hands down, the big standout for me was the Vietnamese iced coffee. So wonderful. I have always wanted to try some and was not disappointed. Looking forward to more experiences with Phở.

I have not tried the Banh Mi. Having said that, I did try all their phở, a spicy seafood noodle soup, some breaded shrimp appetizer, the bubble tea, the cha cha banana, the summer rolls, and more I can’t remember at the moment. Anytime I need a Phở fix in Dayton, this is where I head. I love it. The atmosphere is on point, the food is delicious and filling, and the owners and waiters are EXTREMELY nice. They check up an adequate amount of times and are polite. I’m a standard Chicken Phở kind of girl, and I thought it was good for the price, and the servings are huge. The summer rolls are pretty basic, but they are among the best I’ve had. The shrimp fritters(I forgot what they were really called) were alright… I would skip them. My BF got this really good, really spicy lemongrass and shrimp noodle dish once though, and that was AMAZING. Bubble tea is great. The chacha banana dessert is also yummy, and it comes with ice cream. I’m Filipino, so it reminded me of a similar dessert in my culture called banana lumpia. Overall, love this place. I will keep going and going and going :)

Great Phở. If you have a sore throat, this is the place to come. Hot phở, fresh herbs, and quick service. My tip: skip the spring rolls. They’re only so-so. Go straight for an entrée, and you’ll love every bite.

Let me start this by saying that coming from a state where phở is huge, this establishment had huge boots to fill… and sadly they were only loafer status. I have been twice and neither time knocked my socks off. The atmosphere is completely what I expected. Clean and basic. Nothing wrong with that. Service was on point the first time and lacking the second. The staff is very nice but not super quick. My husband and I both had summer rolls which we both enjoyed. Standard summer rolls. My husband had banh mi which he said was pretty good. I had chicken and vegetable phở which was basically tasteless. I added basil and hoisin sauce and salt and… it was kind of like I made my own broth at the table. I was bummed about that. Veggies were fresh and white meat chicken was great. What I did like was that they had no problems with special orders. I HATE cilantro. HATE! HATE! HATE! and they were able to manage no dishes with that wretched spice. Overall…we may or may not be back. I will definitely try something different if we go again.

I was looking for some good ol’ Vietnamese cuisine while visiting my parents. More specifically, I was looking to satiate an inkling for banh mi. Phở Mi was the closest establishment to fit the bill. It’s located ~20 min from Beavercreek. I tried the number listed on Unilocal and noticed it mirrored the number on Google. I was highly annoyed hearing a constant busy tone or repeatedly being hung up on for an HOUR. Whatever. I still wanted the dang sandwich– especially after reading the reviews on Unilocal. I ordered a beef banh mi and my brother ordered a chicken fried rice. An uncommon touch to my banh mi was the inclusion of a jalapeño– one usually recipes Asian chili peppers. Moreover, I asked for extra mayo and extra pâté… the sandwich was honestly just meh. I’ve had far, far, far better and have learned just to wait for a superior sandwich. On the other hand, my brother’s chicken fried rice was good with the exception of season less chicken. For $ 12.25 + gas and traffic, I could’ve gone to Chick Fil A for tastier food for less.
