I love going over on my lunch break to get a quick bite. Sandwiches are awesome. Days are hit or miss. Like this evening. I placed a sandwich order so I didn’t have to stand in line. Forgot the cheese and mayo. Didn’t taste like Mondays sandwich.

just average in my book. everything looks nice and colorful but the organic section is too small. there isn’t much in the organic meat section either. they don’t have any local produce which saddens me. on a positive note, the employees are friendly and helpful. I will continue to shop at Dorothy Lane.

I felt so excited when I received Fresh Thyme’s colorful ad featuring their natural and organic food. The grocery uses an open market theme that appears consistent with the entire brand. The fish market sells seafood that looks freshly caught. The meat section also has rustic hardwood signs, giving a country, rural feel. I also enjoyed seeing the«wood crate» counters neatly stacked with mountains of fresh fruits. I liked the fresh, self-serve items located throughout the grocery. They have bottle-your-own oil, vinegar, and juice. Clear bins contain antioxidant snacks such as goji berries, quinoa, fragrant brown rice, dried ginger, and many others. If you’re a daily coffee drinker, the grocery also sells self-serve organic coffee beans from exemplary coffee growing regions. For those who enjoy the occasional sugary snack, they also sell candies such as chocolate covered nuts and gummy worms. I find the organic food more affordable. And I would shop here daily for the organic produce. I heard about some price comparisons with other natural groceries, but I find that Fresh Thyme differentiates itself based on a fresh farming theme.(Or, a harvest-your-own food theme.) If you all visit, just relax and enjoy the all-natural grocery trip.

You can see quickly that this is a low price store much like Walmart and Meijer(oh wait, that’s because Meijer is their major investor and supporter). I give them one thing, they are great marketers. The slim selection of organic meats, eggs and veges were priced higher than DLM or others. Their vitamin selection was large but I can get what I need elsewhere. Not sure I get the marketing of «farmers market» as I did not see ANY local products. If it’s important to you to eat local and organic, you probably already have it all figured out from other sources and won’t be impressed with the selection here. If you are a low price big bargain hunter you will probably find some great deals on the grapes from Mexico. It just depends on what you value: quality or low price.

Nothing really unique about this place prices seem a little high. I can find all the same things at Dorothy lane market. Not impressed at all. Hype will die out in a couple of weeks. I will stay with Dorothy lane and Kroger
