Terrible. Very rude and unwelcoming. We stopped in with our children and before they even bothered to walk over and seat us it was like we bought the plague with us. Absolutely awful, don’t even bother.

dry over cooked, over spiced crabs. were they double cooked? dirty, dingy outdoor area where the tent used to be. looks like a dumping ground for the restaurant wish I could look forward to going back, better to drive 20 miles to a good crab place.

In the middle of nowhere is this gem of a restaurant. They have been around for 40 years. These guys know there food and everything is cooked to perfection. The crab soup and the crab cake both get an A. Steamed crabs are always good in this part of the world. The service was excellent and the hostess attended us very well. All in all a wonderful experience that I know that I will come back to relive.

What an amazing find. We had a really great time with our three boys eating crab, sides, and the boys had some mac and cheese(with bits of crab handed over). Everything was delicious and fresh and really friendly. Definitely coming back.

This is the first time we went with the new ownership. What a difference! Service was excellent and the crabs were awesome. It was a Friday night and we sat outside. It was also karaōke night which I’m not usually a fan of but it was absolutely awesome. We enjoyed the singing and food was great. The new owner was very attentive as we were waiting for our table — brought us our drinks — Orange Crushes with fresh squeezed OJ — my favorite. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back!

We have been here before and though the steamed crabs were good, for those who don’t pick, the rest of the menu was mostly fried. So, we went again once new ownership arrived and the new outside tent was up. What an improved menu!!! lots of choices now! My mom really enjoyed the crabs; 4 mediums for 20 $. My hubby and I both got the single crabcakes platter and I got side of broccoli and hush puppies. Our teen got ½ pound of steamed shrimp. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The teen recommends the corn on cob but not Mac and cheese. The outdoor tent was nicer than the former umbrellas, for sun protection, but a few too many flies and bees out their for my liking. Service was attentive and very nice! Good job Floyd’s Crossroads Pub. We will be back. Plus it’s walking distance!

This is a crab place. And an excellent crab place. They are fresh, the are cooked to order and are seasoned well but not overly so. Hush puppies, local corn, great slaw, GREAT Maryland crab and GREAT fried cla, ms and oysters. It’s a small local place but folks that know crab come from all over. Picnic tables, crabs and beer under a tent in the cool summer nights. This is what it’s all about. Waitstaff is great, especially Sammie and Brit.

This place is a little place in the middle of a bunch of beautiful houses! We tried it here tonight for some of the July birthdays in the family. There were six of us. I brought an icecream cake for dessert, since I wasn’t sure of the sweets situation they had to offer, plus the bday people were in the mood for some cake! We were situated in the corner against the wall, all chairs were on the perimeter of the table but not on the backside of the table because it was against the wall. It was a weird situation to talk in. Anyways, the waitress ladies were bickering of who was going«to take us,» which was super rude to do in front of customers. So after we all awkwardly sat, we ordered some drinks/beers and appetizers that included soup and crab dip. The dip was pretty good, nothing special. Crabby, which was good, but not the best flavor. Others got the cream of crab and MD crab. They were just average. The cream of crab had a jalapeño taste, which is not what I would want in my crab soup. So as were finishing the apps, the waitress comes over to tell me that there’s no more shrimp salad, which is what I had ordered as my meal. So I peruse the menu for something else. She comes back to take my order and I order the coconut shrimp platter. She tells me they don’t have that either, and never will. So I ask if there’s anything else on the menu they don’t have so I’m aware. She says no. So I take a few more minutes to look and she comes over and says, «oh, if you wanna wait five more minutes, we’ll have some.» Aaaalllrighty, went through all that boshie for nuthin, which made everything take longer for everyone else at my table. Food came out, and the lady says«oh my gosh, you got the last bit of the shrimp salad and look at that local tomato!!!» What the flying f;&@:*%^! are you talking about? God knows what I got on my plate. Is it old shrimp salad? Or the newly made one? It was a sandwich with a little bit of shrimp salad on it. It was well flavored, but not a lot on it. The hush puppies were so damn good. Probably the best part of the meal. No lie. We got no refills until everyone was almost finished the meal. Other waitresses got us napkins, but ours did not. Finally, when everyone was done, I asked the waitress to take out the icecream cake so it would thaw a bit so we could cut it. She then asks, «do you want like plates and spoons with that?!» No you dodobird, I want to eat it with my fingers. Last time I checked, I wasn’t at Towson Univ with a bunch of blonde Long Island bimbos. These waitresses are ridiculously stupid. Or maybe it was an off night. I’m going with the first. Others in my party liked their tilapia and stuffed shrimp. Others thought their crab cake was subpar. We won’t be back. And I’m not sure why it was so busy. Maybe the all your can eat crabs. Blech. I won’t be back to this place. Service sucks.

The crabs are very very good, but the service is not the best, so I would give this place 3 – 4 stars if it wasn’t so greedy. I don’t know of a single restaurant these days that charges for iced tea/soft drink refills. Come on now. Shame on you.

Sammie the waitress was great. She’s the only reason that I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 3. Tip for gin and tonic: order it in a short glass. Otherwise, too much T and not enough G. Steamed mussels were of high quality but I’m not a huge fan of so much garlic. Onion rings were expensive($ 7 for like 8 o’ rings). Tasted OK but way overpriced. And I should’ve ordered ‘em well done. Cream of crab soup was actually pretty good. Not as good as The Narrows(at Kent Narrows on the way to Ocean City) but what is? If Kent Narrows is a 10, this is an 8 and most cream of crab soups are a 5 or 6. Fried seafood platter was nice, high quality … but everything’s fried so it all tastes the same. Stuffed shrimp was acceptable but a bit too much mayonnaise. If you order this, tell ‘em to go light on the sauce. Broccoli and baked potato were kind of tepid(my pet peeve). My table mates enjoyed their cole slaw. The tables were relatively full … nice to see a business doing well. More than a few people were ordering the hard shell crabs. They looked pretty good.

Went for crabs with some friends, crabs were awesome as always. Our waitress told us the prices were $ 60 for a dozen medium, $ 85 for a dozen large, or $ 44.95 for all you can eat. We opted for all you can eat. When our bill came out it was $ 40 – 50 more than expected because we were charged $ 55 per person(instead of the pointed out $ 44.95). We pointed this out to the waitress who discounted it to $ 50 each(but still was not the original told price), just wish she would has been consistent with a price originally.

Great family style restaurant. The food is good, loved the hush puppies. There was no kids menu I saw so be mindful of that if going with kids.
