I used to come here a LOT during 98 – 99, when I wouldve been 21⁄22. Lots of great people in that age range. Not too many fights, but you can expect some here and there. Goes with the territory. Good selection of drinks, good people, the owner Greg is cool. The pizza is great. Old school jukebox.

The fish bowl is so $$$$. Friday happy hour is great for two hours(5 – 7)! Also free pizza, it’s cousin vinny’s but free is free! I would recommend trivia on Tuesdays as well.

The Field House has the best pizza. Since graduating from UD, I spent 3 years living in Italy where I’ve eaten lots of pizza. The only place in the US that comes close to Italian-quality pizza is the Field House. It’s a different style of pizza… but just as good. I don’t know why other pizza places can’t make pizza as good as the Field House. It’s one place I must stop whenever I’m back in town visiting. For dinner and drinks, this is definitely the best dive bar on Brown Street.

When you call the restaurant and they say«Thank you for calling the field house home of the fishbowl» you know its classy. This is a college bar, and I am not afraid to say that there are some days where you might see me here. Not the cleanest, not the best stocked, but always good times. A great juke box, with all the latests, and old classics. They have specials every night and the week, but lets be honest the reason you come here is because of the fishbowl, s. A huge fishbowl, filled ¾s full with basically the full line of well alcohol that the bar has(think rum, gin, vodka, triple sec) and you choice of what ever color they have under the rainbow, and topped with either coke or sprite., for 20 bucks and 15 on wed. Drinking with 4 or 5 of your closest friends has never been this fun If you want well mixed cocktails, and lots of beer on tap(they have budlight, bud, and Miller) then this is not the bar for you. If you want a place that has history, a college scene with out being over crowded then this is the place for you. Well worth checking out at least once while you’re at UD

Best Jukebox around UD campus! This place was a great college bar while I was at UD. It’s not the cleanest or nicest by any means, but it was never TOO packed when I was there and they were the only place in town that had FISHBOWLS.

Four stars just for the memories. I worked here while I was a student at UD, and still remember the numbers to punch in to get my favorite songs on the jukebox(9901 was my song, and I’m pretty sure nobody else plays it unless by accident!). I’ve had more than my share of fishbowls and Seven Seas, and UD wouldn’t be UD without this bar. Nostalgia’s great, but this definitely isn’t the type of bar I’d go to if I saw it in my new hometown. It’s a college dive bar — it’s dirty, it’s not stocked very well, and if you’re over the age of 23, it’s probably not your scene. The beers are cheap(4 bucks for a giant domestic draft) and the fishbowls will get you and your friends happily drunk, but super-classy this bar is not.
