Very good subs– fresh bread, great meat and ingredients. Disappointed in the potato and macaroni salad– they’re just a store brand, not homemade. Friendly staff though.

Ate here twice while staying at a hotel in the area. Service was fast and friendly. The sandwiches were some of the best subs I’ve had. The wheat bread was whole grain yet soft and fresh. Would definitely go here again.

Best subs ever. Best bread, best meats. I’m a big sandwhich eater and I was blown away by the wonderful taste.

Curiously bland subs. I’ve been here three times. Each time, hoping I was maybe wrong last time. There are better options. Go across the street to the Submarine House

I moved to the Dayton area 11 months ago. I drove right by this place daily for my first 9 months. I’ve spent the last 2 months making up for lost time and deliciousness. Absolutely fantastic subs. A Jimmy John’s/Jersey Mike’s/Subway franchise killer! I think about these subs in my sleep!!!

It’s a diner style fast food restaurant serving sandwiches and sides. The sandwiches are HUGE. So choose carefully. Medium here is bigger than a subway foot long and large is insanely big. I managed to eat just half of my medium sandwich. The service is friendly and the place wasn’t crowded at all when we went on a Saturday evening. Good place to grab something after your visit to the aviation museum.

The wife is from western NY and when she saw that there was a Dibella’s by our new home, she was ecstatic. So we went… I had the cheesesteak and ordered a large. It was a solid 4/5, but I ordered the large just assuming it wouldn’t fill me up — it was two pieces both about 7 inches long, so yeah — a lot of food, so worth the $ 9.99. Wife had a cold roast beef — yep, yummy. Kids had kids’ meals, and at $ 5.99 each a bit pricey, but comes with a fruit cup, a cookie, and a Capri sun. But the sandwich was pretty generous(about 4 inches). The place is large, clean, and it got busy during Saturday lunch. It’s a bit expensive, but for about $ 2 more for a meal, I doubt I would ever eat at a Subway again. Since this place brings back my wife’s childhood memories, I guess this will be our exclusive place for sandwiches.

Amazing sub! Great price! Bread is so important for a sub… their bread is perfect! Try it out. No chance you hate this sub.

I got the cowboy sub and it was delicious. I thought that the barbaque sauce on the sub had a great flavor to it and the sesame seed bread was great as well. I thought that the portions were great and the pricing was around expected.

If you want an authentic Philly Cheesesteak you have two options. Go to Philadelphia or go to DiBella’s. It’s the real thing. Great service. Excellent subs.

I haven’t been to DiBella’s since they opened. I remember the service being fast and friendly and the subs being jam packed and delicious. I stopped by tonight to see that is not the case, at least not today. I was the only one waiting in an otherwise empty store(save for the customers already eating) but wasn’t acknowledged for a few minutes. When I was, the guy helping me took my order more as a suggestion and just did his own thing with my sandwich. No meat on my sub and only one slice of cheese… if I wanted a vegetarian sub, I would have ordered one.

I’ve been to Dibellas in Pittsburgh and was excited to see one in Dayton as I was driving through. I always get the godfather, salami, capricola and spicy ham on everything bread. I love that the bread is thick enough to soak up the homemade oil mix but doesn’t overwhelm the sandwich. The perfect ratio!

I love this sandwich store. I usually have a craving for this sandwich when I visit upstate NY, but hey it is a chain out here in Ohio as well. Yay! I got the flyer on everything bread with oil and tomato/lettuce/mozzarella cheese. I love how fresh the cold cuts are. I have to say that this is one of my favorite sandwich restaurants. So yummy!

.. Had a pretty busy day and swung by on my quick lunch break. They made my sandwich quick on an everything bun and it was pretty good. The tomatoes were slightly too cold to my liking, but the bread was fresh and flavorful. Also, I think the restaurant would do better w freshly made pasta. The oil in the pasta salad looked coagulated. Not too tasty.(the pickle was good though!) Nice guys working and very affordable!

My party and I tried several of their sandwiches. They aren’t the greatest subs I’ve ever tasted, but they are very good. The bread stands out, and I’d recommend the«everything» bread. The employees are extremely helpful and courteous.

This has to be my favorite place to get a sub. The other sandwich shops are too cookie cutter for me. Being a transplant from Cleveland, I’ve been waiting a long time to have a DiBella’s down this way! I usually go with the Godfather sub as the Capicola(Gob-a-gola) is not a meat you can find at most sub shops. I’ve also tried a variety of others and you really, cannot go wrong!

My uncle had mentioned it to me and said it was pretty good. I had the godfather sub & it was a mere ok, but my friend had the chicken Philly, i tried it and it was pretty good. its just not the best to me, but high on the dollar for a sandwich. the people working there were very nice, they were fast and on top of there game. there is plenty of seating and a nice outdoor patio to sit at on a nice day and enjoy lunch. i really have mixed feelings about this place due to cost of sub. but if you don’t care about that it is a great place to eat If i was around here and someone who hadn’t had it before wanted to try it i would go there with them. for the money this place is just another sub shop to me.

I recently read on that a new sub shop was about to open. So because I can never get enough subs I drove over to Dibellas back on Jan 16th and what happened. It wasnt officially open, however they were offering Free Subs. Free. Now how many other sub shops are in the Dayton area and within miles of Dibellas? 1. Super Subby’s 2. Submarine Shop 3. Subway 4. Quizno’s 5. Subway 6. Schlotzsky’s 7. Penn Station 8. Milanos 9. Subway 10. Potbelly’s 11. Blimpie’s 12. Jimmy Johns 13. Jersey Mikes 14. Subway 15. WG Grinders 16. Hoagies R US(made that one up, but you want to go dont you?) 17. Did I forget Subway. how many gave me a free sub? Hoagies R US? Now with a list like that I would not be worried about opening a Sub shop. Well maybe a little. But, these puppies are Old-fashioned and my Sub was free. I ordered the Godfather. I felt like I could kill a horse. If you go there on Feb 4th you might win free subs for a year. Imagine how many pounds you can add on in 2012 if you win that. You would be soft, bouncy, and able to play offensive lineman for the Bengals. You could turn your heat down due to your excessive new padding, thus saving on food money, heating bills, and ultimately the environment. This is a great chance for all of us to save the earth. I believe that these guys have what it takes to make it and if you like Subs than go. So sorry, Quizno’s, Schlotzsky’s, Blimpies, and Super Subbys, store closing and eventual bankruptcy are in your future. Now when can I go to a Sub shop that makes Po’boys?
