This was my first experience at the Dayton Beer Company and I thoroughly enjoyed my time! My bestie and I went and ordered a flight to share and then we headed straight back to the patio to listen to live music under an umbrella! We ended up making friends with a couple here and spending the rest of our time at DBC with them! We played Scrabble and Othello, both of which were supplied by DBC, and had great conversation over some nice brews! We even ordered pizza from the Dayton Pizza Factory, which will deliver your pizza directly to you on the patio at DBC!

Great environment! Especially for nice spring nights to sit out on the patio under the lights. Good beer, almost too many to choose from, and very creative flight boards!

They offer selections from many different Ohio breweries, which is a nice(and unique). It’s big and open and there is outdoor seating available. Their variety and number of selections should be enough to please any group. The tasting selection is a good option. Their prices are very reasonable.

This is an incredible place. The service is amazing and they have a great beer selection. We hosted my husband’s 30th birthday party here — I would highly recommend it!

Such a cute atmosphere– the best place to go when it’s nice outside, or before/after a dragons game. Wonderful craft beer selection and the beer flight in the ohio shaped holder was so unique. Great service! I will definitely be going back!

I enjoy a good beer but I want something to eat to go with my beer. The business model appears to be to rake advantage of local did trucks. I applaud the model because it offers variation and builds local businesses. Sadly, the 3 times I have been there, the food trucks are missing. So we haven’t bothered to stay.

I’ve been to the new Dayton Beer Company location over 1 times and it is fantastic! See that picture of the state of Ohio with glasses of beer in it? That’s a real thing. They really do that here. That’s not ‘shopped. Every single one of their taps is from an Ohio brewery. There’s probably even one from Akron — who the hell knows? There are plenty of tables and almost as many chairs for you to sit on while you enjoy your beverage. The staff also doesn’t seem to mind people drinking while standing which is great. Want to drink outdoors? That kind of stuff goes on here as well. This place is one of a kind for downtown Dayton and I really hope it does well. 5th Street, Warped Wing, Toxic, and Barrel House all have awesome and unique spaces but Dayton Beer Company wins for tap selection and«airyness». Let me explain — they have cargo doors on both sides of the building. According to the laws of thermodynamics, air flows from one side to the other, thereby creating a nice indoor breeze for patrons. BONUSFACT: after a couple hours here, none of this matters.

I really like the space for this brewery in downtown Dayton. It’s easy to spot since it’s a big blue building which helps it stand out. It’s big and spacious with multiple areas to sit with bar seating, picnic tables, and outdoor seating. They have around 36 taps featuring their own beers, other local beers, and regional beers really featuring what this area of the country has to offer in the way of craft beer. They have awesome flight boards which are wood and in the shape of Ohio and hold six beer tastings. I tried a flight and later a pint allowing me to taste five of their beers, one from Yellow Springs Brewery, and one from Christian Moerlein. I am not totally sure but I think the beers I drank were: from DBC: Patterson Pale Ale Double Play Pale Ale St. Anne’s Amber Ale Broken Trolley Blonde Ale and something else Yellow Springs Brewery: Breaking Edge IPA Christian Moerlein: Altered Pale Ale None of the DBC beers really jumped out as great but not bad either. Although I wasn’t a big fan of the blonde, just seemed too light(I know it’s a blonde but some are more flavorful than others). I will come back if I get the chance because I like the space and the large selection of regional beers. If I had to rate their own beer I would probably say three stars based upon this experience but I like what else the place has to offer so overall I give it four. However, I will not shy away from trying more DBC beers in the future as I’m sure they will brew something that I will enjoy better. I also probably didn’t focus on the beer as much since I was with a large group and was talking a lot.
