Creative dishes and good food for this area! The cornbread is one of my favorites. Not impressed with the salad. Wish they could be open more evenings. Also, they sell a few local bread and cheese items in the store.

Check the hours before coming here. We ate a delicious breakfast here this summer. When we came back today(November) we pulled up and saw the place didn’t open until 11, hence had to find an alternative. Luckily there was a place that satisfied our hunger around the corner at the Dayton Coffee Shop.

In Dayton for business and on a lifestyle change«diet»… I’m only eating REALFOOD! It’s so hard to find a place like this that has options for me! I did the Cobb salad on my first day(without the blue cheese) it was delicious, the homemade orange dressing was great! Day 2, I need some protein so I went with the pulled pork and had a side salad and zucchini and squash for my sides! It was amazing! So good!

Great fresh food with large portions. They use local foods & the chef is incredible. They serve lunch Monday through Friday & are open for dinner Friday evening. I always make a reservation for Friday evening, but you can just drop in.

I love this place. Simple as that. The restaurant food is great. I had the poblano potato soup and pimento cheese and tomato sandwich. Excellent! I suspect the tomatoes are local, though I don’t know for sure. I am extremely picky about my tomatoes. I usually don’t like them. I pretty much only enjoy Tennessee summer tomatoes and no others. These were awesome. And the bread is from a bakery in Chattanooga. My husband had the meatloaf(made with local beef) and zucchini and squash. I’ve never had zucchini and squash cooked that well! Before we left I headed over to the market half of the store to get some of those amazing tomatoes and some jalapeño cheddar bread from Bluff View Bakery. Normally I’d grab some Sweetwater Valley cheese as well, but I still had some left from last week. :) And to top it off — the prices are great too. The bread I got was around 5.00, the tomatoes 3.00 for about 4 – 5, and the meals were about 5.00−8.00 per person. I can’t wait to try their breakfasts one day.
