Batteries Plus Bulbs

i only called in, havent been to the actual store. i wanted to see if they had the battery i needed for my key fob. the guy on the phone was very friendly and informative, told me about the deal they had going to purchase key fob battery changes for life on that car, and there charge was for them to replace it for you as well… which i had already opened up the fob, it just took a flat screwdriver and less than 3 seconds because my car is old and basic. i think they are more complicated now so i guess that would be a handy service in the future.
but anyway i ended up going in to check at autozone because i saw one while i was out running my other errands and they had the battery, a double pack for less than the batteries plus single one cost. within a few seconds of me walking in there i was greeted and the salesperson got the battery for me, opened it up and replaced it in the fob for me while ringing me up. no charge for that… just paid for the batteries.
so in conclusion, i would probably try other places in the future before this store just because they seem over priced from the get-​go.
