Applebee’s

I have enjoyed this Applebee’s in the past but they ruined it! The room was so dark (especially at the center table with no overhead light they crammed us into) I needed my flashlight app to see the menu and when I did I saw the selections were slashed and the prices inflated. My dad ordered a $ 16 steak then could barely cut it, it was so tough. I asked for vegetarian options but there were none. Even the dinner salads have meat or shrimp and I was informed the price is the same with or without the meat or I could get the meat on the side. My «meal» was a tossed salad and pretzels for $ 9, disappointing. The only reason we didn’t walk out was the nice waiter who did his best to apologize for the poor menu selections, dark atmosphere (are they going for romance in a casual, family restaurant? Looked like they have something to hide) and poor food quality. At least the beer was cold. We won’t be back.

Came for lunch… wasn’t greeted until I said down at the bar… my server didn’t introduce her self… after about 10 mins server came back and finally asked if i wou like anything to drink… i ordered a mango jalapeño rita which actually wasn’t bad if the bar was fulyl stock took about 4 – 5 mins to make… The manager on duty clearly didn’t want to take a car side order out but making sure she put it off to my server Brittany in which was on the name tag… it also seem like she didn’t want to be in or around the front of the house. service at this location has extremely went down and the atmosphere seems to not be as friendly. The grille house club ordered… was just awesome the fries on the other and tasted completely old overall it was a semi decent experience

Fuck this place… Honestly one of the worst restraunt I’ve ever been to. ARE YOU A SPORTS BAR OR A NICE RESTERAUNT!!! PICK ONE! Other than your uncomfortable tables and assholes of servers… The atmosphere in this place is dead… I feel like I’m at a retirement home right now. Litters lay rather just sit on the ground and eat the dog shit off the ground than sit in that shit hole of a restraunt for 2 more seconds,. F them.

The food is what you would expect from any Applebee’s. What set our visit apart was the service! Our server was MALCOLM, and he was AWESOME! Once we placed our order, we didn’t have to ask for anything because he seemed to be able to read our minds and anticipate our dining needs.

This place should be ashamed of themselves, $ 12 for a lunch salad and 2 ounces of chicken on it.

Bad Afternoon, Bad service, went in ordered a Steak, the Steak was good, the service was terrible. Seems the Manger decided to send employees home, at 4:00 Sunday evening. Meals took too long to get. My second beer, the Glass was chipped, it cut my lip, I noticed the glass was so cracked, beer was leaking out onto the table. The glass was cracked all the way around the glass, where I didn’t want to pick it up anymore. During this incident and speaking to the Manger, my food got cold. I didn’t need medical attention but was offered it. Our afternoon out was a disaster. The manager decided to take my food off my bill. THAT’S IT. The next table over was they’re for there anniversary, had a terrible meal, people would come in and had gotten they’re meal before them. They complained to the Manger and had gotten an I’m sorry, I let employees go home because we were not busy. Straight up ruined they’re Anniversary dinner. We went here for years, it must be new management or something. The table beside us and myself will not be going there anymore. Go at your own risk.

This was a great dining experience. I lived 100 feet from the W. dorothy Lane Applebees that closed on Christmas eve and I really miss it. I decided that I couldn’t miss out on another lunch from this brand and travelled the five miles West to their nearest store in operation. I was not disappointed! The manager, Sonny, was great and the server, Matt was terrific. I will be spending the extra time and gas to get the amazing quality food and service in which I have grown accustom. Come for lunch, stay for happy hour and leave after a delicious dinner!

I don’t really have huge and high expectations when it comes to going to a chain like Applebees. Generally, I’m happy if the food comes out hot, the place is clean, and the servers are nice and attentive. Dinner tonight was mediocre at best. The crispy chicken stir fry had, I’d guess, 2 – 3 tablesponsful of rice, which I mentioned to the server. It was so soupy I could have used a spoon. Nothing was offered to remedy. It was obvious that she was going to get cut as soon as her area was cleaned, so she spent the majority of her time clearing the few tables rather than taking care of the guests that were there. I generally like this location, but it has certainly slipped. I’ll give the location another chance and update my review then. They will need to pick up their game for me to keep this on my list of places to frequent.
