YAY BOOTS!
We stopped in to see this season’s leather boots. They had a nice selection of knee, just below the knee, and ankle boots with buckles, metal embellishments and quilting to add a little interest. The options available included dressy, casual, leather or suede, simple or eye-​catching. VC carries ladies shoes and accessories but we were all about the boots today.
For those who have a larger calf, they also have boots to fit you as well. However, I am starting to get bored with the traditional colors and would love to see something a bit more adventurous such as red, navy and even metallics. I would love to see this store distinguish itself from others by carrying something different.
The sales staff was very nice and helpful but in their zeal, they forgot to listen to the customer. My friend wanted to see a boot in a size 9 medium, regular calf but we couldn’t find it on the shelf and asked for assistance. I could see the wheels churning and knew that the salesperson would just bring what she had instead of what was requested so I repeated «size 9 medium». What does she bring? A size 8 with a wide calf and another size not requested.
Here is the deal: You need to bring me what I requested and allow ME to suggest other sizes if necessary. Even if you don’t have what I requested, don’t presume to know what I want. Unless you know me intimately, (my tastes and size), please don’t bring out random items to waste my time and yours.
If they tighten up on that customer service and expand their inventory, they will definitely stand out from the crowd. I will be back later in the season because the sizes were very limited today and I am sure this will improve as the weather gets cooler. I am also hoping to see more styles and colors available.
It is a shoe store with leather options, of course it’s recommended!

Those who know me know I have a bit of a shoe problem. Well, I don’t consider it a problem so much as a fantastic obsession, but no matter, the Vince Camuto outlet is an awesome place to feed my needs.
They have some great looking shoes: a nice mix of fun and professional, all at great prices. I nabbed a pair of go-​with-​everything gold pumps for about $ 30 and some on-​trend cap toe slingbacks for about $ 60. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful and I liked the layout of the store as well.
The quality isn’t necessarily there, though, as my gold pumps are in bad shape after just two wears. A serious bummer, but with the prices here you can’t complain too much.

Shoes! Lots of shoes…
My wife thought the place was so so, with decent prices for the outlet mall.
Me? I know nothing.
