UC Davis Medical Group

So convenient to have a lab in Davis associated with UC Davis doctors.
Went in to have some blood drawn– didn’t have to wait but 10 minutes (there were other patients in front of me and I had no appointment) and was on my way minus a little blood in no time.

Had to switch insurance this year, such a mess. We left doctors that we loved and that were treating us at a very high level of care and were forced into the UC Davis Medical Group. Every doctor has been gruff and sometimes outright rude. I left my first appointment wondering what I had done wrong, I went to the doctor that everyone recommended but was treated like I was a burden. That has been the case for every department, every doctor we have seen. When UCD forced so many of their employees into the plans they decided to cover, they overloaded the system and the patients coming in are not getting first-​rate care. We are viewed as a problem. Considering the fact that my husband has several chronic conditions and I have some health issues, we are feeling like we have been thrown to the dogs. If you have a choice, don’t choose UCD Medical Group.
