Meyer House Bed & Breakfast

Great place. I came up with my two kids for a weekend skiing at Canaan. The rooms were nice. spacious even. And the breakfast was great. Better yet, my son is celiac and the owner went out of her way to accommodate us. I would definitely stay there again… well worth the money.

My co-​worker and I stayed here on a business trip, and we absolutely adored it! The house is beautiful and has a welcoming, friendly feel. We didn’t meet the owner until the morning, but we felt welcome and at home all the same. The rooms are very private and have lots of things to make you feel comfy and at home. There are little electric fireplaces, private bathrooms, and reeeeallly comfy beds. Cindy, the owner, is a very sweet lady and a master chef of breakfast foods. We had a warm peach cobbler and pear muffins for the first course followed by eggs Benedict with home fries. The eggs were cooked to perfection and everything was so… yum! I’m a big fan of eating, and breakfast is my favorite meal, so this was such a delight. In addition to all this, the location is quiet (I heard no dogs) and a very short (5 minute) walk from restaurants and shops. I am never staying at hotels on business trips again!
