H2O to go used to be better. I used to come here to buy water and the water tastes great! After some renovation in the store, now the water tastes somewhat metallic to me. It doesn’t taste as good as it used to be.

If you live here you know Davis water is bad. We started with the filtered water at the grocery store and that was better but quality was up and down(sometimes it tasted down right bad) and they were non-operational more than you would think. H2O to Go eater is fantastic and consistent. And I really can’t imagine more friendly service. 1 thing that is a problem is the hours. If you don’t work it’s no problem but I prefer an early morning fill up or find I need water in the evening and they just aren’t open. They’ve been saying that will be fixed for about 6 mo the but it hasn’t happened.

The price 50 cent per gallon; a little higher then other competition in the town. But the taste is worth the small price increase. Better then my previous local supplier in Frenso and Porterville. Just the taste alone convince me to pay that small premium. Well Done H20 To Go!

If my memory serves me, I believe my family has been doing business with H2O to Go since 1992. All of my experiences with the previous and new owners have been extremely positive and I never had an experience with the female employee whose behavior was off-putting to one reviewer. I have always had positive experiences with all of the store staffers. I use the 100 gallon water card and find it very convenient. I find the taste of the water very refreshing. I find the taste of Davis water unpleasant. I appreciate having H2O as an option here in Davis.

Great water from even greater people. I’ve bought water from this store for decades and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The employees are friendly and helpful. They’ll help you fill your jugs or take it out to the car if need be.

Hands down the best water I have ever drank. Seriously, ever! So good in fact that I now carry a one gallon jug with me when I travel so don’t have to go a day without it. Life is too short to drink suboptimal water. Give this a try — you’ll be happy you did.

Water to go is the place to get your water refilled. Chuck the owner is very friendly and talkative. Get the 100 gal card and they will keep track for you.

Water is not all equal. And not just tap versus filtered. Taste the water from this place and compare it to a Brita filter, a bottle of Aquafina, and from a Glacier water machine. Maybe it’s the Pepsi-Coke war, but for water afficionados, but they do have their distinct flavors. H2O-to-Go sells some of the better tasting water I’ve tried. It has a clean finish and a slight sweetness to it(similar to Aquafina). The price they charge per gallon is higher than you’ll find at the machines at Safeway or Nugget next door, but you are paying for quality. However, what I don’t appreciate is the one female employee here who tries to guilt and shame you into buying their water. I will gladly buy your water because it is a superior product. I’m more likely to avoid buying your water, despite being a superior product, if you make me feel like the world’s worst person for not buying it. Fortunately, I haven’t seen her here in ages. They offer a huge variety of water containers and dispensers. You will find the container you need for your water storage needs. The one time I purchased a 3-gallon container with a spigot and the seal was leaking, they replaced it on the spot with a new one and testing the new one to guarantee it’s working okay. Docked one star for that one employee. Otherwise, I like this place. I still occasionally come here for my water and water storage needs whenever I’m back in the Davis area.

After ditching the nasty prone-to-mold Brita pitchers and drinking Davis tap water straight up for 1 and a half years, we invested in a dispenser($ 39) and 23-gallon containers($ 12 each) from H20 to Go. SO. MUCH. BETTER. The water tastes GOOD — I know, it’s water, doesn’t taste like anything, right? WRONG. Even our house guests visiting from out of town comment on how good the water is. If you’re looking to change your habits and drink more water, getting it from here will definitely help you out. You pay by the gallon and can pay for 50 or 100 gallons up front so that it’s a bit cheaper($ 22 and $ 43, respectively — or 43 – 44 cents/gallon). They keep your gallon card there for you and look up your last name each time you come in to fill up. The 50 gallon card lasts our household of 2 people around 3 months, so it’s a great deal. Go check them out and support a local family-owned business!
