Blaze pizza is the best tasting pizza for its price. Their $ 8 unlimited toppings 12″ pizza is definitely the best value of the menu. It was also big enough to fill me up for dinner. Basically for $ 8 you get a crust, as much cheese as you want, and as many toppings as you want. I think all the pizzas were thin crust, which I appreciated. The menu says that their pizzas only take 3 minutes to cook and I wasn’t timing it or anything but it felt more like 5 or 6 minutes, which is still really fast to cook a pizza! I’d definitely recommend blaze pizza to anyone who doesn’t want just a plain old cheese pizza again!

Busy place! Waited about 15 minutes to put in our order but only took 5 minutes after that to get it. Super tasty too! Got the vegan cheese and it wasn’t as good as real cheese, but y’anno #dairystruggle. The service was great, the employees were really helpful. I got olive oil, vegan cheese, double chicken, bacon, zucchini, and oregano. Can’t wait to go back!

Love to workout so when I decide for a cheat meal I always go for pizza! This is by for one of my few pizza places I enjoy eating at. Love the fact that I can customize my pizza as a want and the staff is always great! I also love that by the time I’m grabbing my drink my pizza is ready! Takes about 5 min. Great for a quick bite!

Everything here is super quick and tasty. When I’m in Davis and I want pizza, Blaze is the way to go. I usually get the BBQ chicken pizza or I customize one. I highly recommend getting some pineapple topping as well as asking for BBQ Sauce on your pizza after it gets taken out of the oven.

Blaze is the equivalent of Chipotle for pizza. I only ever order the $ 8 build-​your-​own pizza. Load up on whatever you like (I get as much as possible to get my moneys worth). Disregard if they say «too many toppings will make your pizza soggy»; it’s their polite way of saying «STOP ADDING SO MANY TOPPINGS». Regardless, the environment is warm and welcoming. Service is fast and super polite.
If your pizza is burnt, tell the employees and they will take care of you.

$ 7.95 for a build your own 12-​inch pizza that is 100% customizable. Another down-​the-​line style spot that’s super fun for the kids (and adults too!!!). Perfect for splitting, but really any sized pizza can be a personal pizza if you try hard enough. For the price, why not. I’m sure y’all know what you like on your pizza so I’ll just offer some tips:
1. You can get different toppings on each half of your pizza
2. Different sauces such as pesto can be drizzled on after baking, just ask at the cash register!
3. You can have them bake your pizza longer if you like your pizza crispier
4. If you don’t finish, np there’s ½ sized boxes so that you don’t feel wasteful
Why only 4 stars? I’m picky and I wish they had some sort of herb sauce because the white cream sauce is a little too flat/​oily for my liking. And I don’t particularly like red sauce.

I know this is a chain kind of a restaurant, but oh my god the pizza here is so so good! We came here twice, the first time I came here with three other friends, and we got three pizzas and a salad. The second time I was alone, and I made a pizza with my own toppings.
The first time: The salad I got was beets and goat cheese, and it wasn’t my favorite thing, which is why I docked the one star. it’s already chopped and put together in a plastic container, with dressing in a disposable ramekin. it just didn’t taste fresh, and well, it was a little disappointing. Now to the good stuff: the three pizzas we got were the art lover which was absolutely amazing, and I totally love whenever there’s ricotta cheese on a pizza. the crust here is thinner which I like a lot, and the sauce isn’t overwhelming.
the second pizza was the green stripe. I liked this pizza, but not as much as the art lover. they put the arugula on top at the end which is typical, but I personally would have preferred if it was a little less, or if it was maybe tossed with oil, salt and pepper, or some sort of flavoring. The last pizza, was the white top, and I liked this pizza the best due to the white cream sauce, and that it had bacon! So the next time I visited, I got a pizza with white sauce, artichoke, and bacon, ricotta, with a little arugula on top. it was absolutely delicious, and I truly would choose this pizza place over anywhere else in Davis to get a pizza.

This a place that you are able to make your own pizza. Most places you are completely bound to whatever menu is available, but here is completely different you are able to make your gluten free pizza as healthy and tasty as can be. I discovered this place inadvertently and what a complete game changer and difference it was to see that pizza meets healthy bulletproof style. A college after school hangout by the Davis locals, but the chipotle style of you are able to have a pizza to your liking of however you want completely is nice and intriguing. Don’t underestimate this place and can be a nice spot for a date night.

This was my first Blaze experience, and let me tell you, it turned me into a believer.
I’m not the biggest fan of pizza, but this is no ordinary pizza! I love how you can customize it the way you want to and you can see it being made right in front of you. The ingredients are simple, but you can combine them to make your own complicated and fun and crazy creation!
The people are super friendly at this location too! Very accommodating and asking me if they put a good amount or if I wanted more of anything.
I am always craving this pizza now thanks to the experience I’ve had here! Definitely will be returning again soon!

First time at Blaze. And I love Pizza. I grew up on (real) Italian food and I can’t stand deep dish pizzas.
We went around 3pm, when it’s not that busy, but there was still steady business. The service was great, our waitwr was sparky and accommodating. The pizza was ready super fast.
Because I live in a small town that got a Pieology in the last year, I can’t avoid to compare those two. And I liked Blaze much better than Pieology! They have a lot more options for veggie toppings. And best of all, they offer a vegan cheese and recently dismissed the extra charge!
That deserves a bonus star, although it made me feel a little queasy. I might go just very light on the vegan cheese next time. Who knows how processed that stuff is.
On the other hand, the pizza dough was great. Blaze says, it lets it sit and ferment for 24 hours before use. You can taste that. It was baked just the right amount of time.
Because it was my first time, I piled on all the veggies, but I will go with less next time. It just becomes too soggy.

Yum! All the Blazes I’ve been to have been consistent. Flavors are much better than pieology.
Anyway, nothing much to add to the reviews but it’s basically Chipotle-​style pizza. Cooked real fast and your order will be done with a quickness of like 2 minutes. Ingredients are delicious and you can get as much as you want.
I love the meats that go with it and the veggies and especially the jalapeños!
What absolutely makes the pizza and adds freshness is adding arugula and pesto drizzle after the pizza is baked. Make sure to tell the cashier you want this though.

I like Blaze for many reasons: spacious, inside and outside eating available, vegan cheese, unlimited toppings, you know it! Thank goodness the outside setting is simply open space but still put a roof over your head. Good for rainy seasons and for those with dogs and want to bring them along. There’s a lot of room inside also. The only complaint I have is the ventilation. I smell like I myself was in the oven after every meal here. Oh well. At least it’s a delicious smell.
Vegan cheese is life! I don’t grow up eating a lot of cheese so its smell and aftertaste are a little too pungent for me. Vegan cheese has the cheesiness but none of that vomit-​inducing smell. I love getting a ton of spinach, roasted garlic, mushrooms, basically all of the vegetables. Just pile them on for me please! If you choose to add extra sauce like pesto, be warned that it will come out on the slicky and oily side. The size of the pizza is more than enough. I always have to split it with a friend or bring the rest home afterwards. That’s ok. I welcome all the leftover pizza in the middle of the night.
Please do get the s’mores cookies! They warm it up next to the oven and it is PERFECT. Very ideal for the colder season.

The guy behind the counter asked me if it was my first time here and I said yes. He gave me a great intro and recommendations, super friendly! He checked up on how we were doing 3 times, very attentive!
I built my own pizza. Unlimited toppings! Tried our vegan cheese and loved it! Definitely get pesto sauce on top, so good! I will be back for more!

How can you go wrong with pizza and UNLIMITED toppings w/​flat-​rate price! BLAZE has a PIZZA-​my-​heart :P
Blaze is a different pizza joint as you get pick and choose with what you’d like for your pizza. There’s a BYO (build your own) option or get the pre-​made style ones. I recommend BYO since you get to add whatever please.
There’s different sauces (wish they had herb-​butter like pieology) meats, and veggies that you would normally have on your pizza. The more toppings you add though, the heavier the pizza gets and gets kinda sloppy to eat. BUT hey, you can’t go wrong with extra toppings!
There’s at least 4 – 6 workers that make the order and topping-​choosing process go by quick. Don’t be afraid to ask for more of a topping as they sometimes skimp on ya.
After you’re done, the pizza gets «blazed» for about 3 minutes. Sometimes the pizza gets a bit burnt. After sauces are aaaaaamaazing! I usually get half pesto/​half BBQ.
I recommend coming here if you’re looking for a quick personal meal as you could easily finish one box by yourself in one sitting! It’s also a chill hang out spot to just wine down and relax. There’s lots of seats (indoors & outdoors)! It’d be nice if they add some TV’s in there too :)

Fast convenient pizza!
Dough is already premade and it just goes down the line starting with the sauce, cheese, meat & veggies. They have both red and white sauce here, so hooray for white sauce. The have a assortment of cheese including fresh mozzarella. Same goes for the meats and veggies, and don’t be shy to ask for extra. After you’ve made your choices they through it in they fiery oven and it comes out pretty quick. Once they call you for you pizza you can add sauces like pesto on top.
I thought the pizza was really good. A white sauce pizza with fresh mozzarella, all meat and artichokes with pesto. Can’t go wrong with that.
The staff is actually what won me over, even though it was busy they took the time to top my pizza, piece by piece, so when it came out it was beautiful. And when I asked for extra bacon they hooked the boy up. The only thing for me is that I like my pizza on the crispy side and it wasn’t. But I’m sure they can cook it longer next time.

Came here with some of our friends on a Saturday evening for dinner. I always get this place mixed up with Blast 825… Blaze, Blast. same thing. When I heard we were coming here, I expected something similar to Pieology. And that is exactly what I got. which isn’t a bad thing!
The place is open and bright, and the menu is easy to read. Something that stood out was the customer service. They were super nice and each person who helped with the toppings would call you by your name, thanks to the first person who takes down your name and type of order (premade combo or build your own).
I went with a white sauce, ricotta & parmesan pizza with red peppers, spinach, sautéed onions, artichokes, meatball, and bacon… pretty much what I would’ve gotten at Pieology. I’d have to say I think they’re more generous with toppings here at Blaze. Also, the food was QUICK!
I don’t know if I would drive all the way here for Blaze since we have a Pieology closer to home, but if I was in the area I would definitely consider this place for dinner again!

Custom created Pizza?! What could be better than that? Except for the fact that they don’t put THAT much of each topping. I’d kinda like a pineapple on each bite I take please.
This is how you order at Blaze. If you’re a mushroom lover: ask for mushrooms, ask for more, then move on to something else, then come back to mushrooms, more mushrooms and end it with more mushrooms. Then you’ll have enough.
In all seriousness, Blaze is great. You can customize your pizzas. Chipotle style pizza that gets baked in less than 10 minutes thanks to thin crusts. Also it definitely tastes and is a lot healthier than other places so win-​win.

Great service, fresh ingredients and affordable price for a whole pizza. Every time I’ve gone here, they’ll always have the ingredients on deck, and I appreciate that because sometimes you just need that one ingredient to complete your pizza! They also take their time distributing the toppings on your pizza symmetrically and I appreciate it because other locations do it sloppy. Quality is delicious, sometimes my dough is a little burnt but I see them carving it out and that’s good service. $ 8 – 9 for pizza, can’t complain about that since I usually can’t finish the entire thing in one seating.
Don’t forget to add BBQ, pesto or ranch to your pizza when you pick it up! (No cost)
Overall, this location does a great job with the fast service, always reloading with fresh ingredients and making sure that you are satisfied with your pizza.
