Found a new favorite lunch spot!!! Delicious menu, even yummier food. The split pea soup is amazing and unlike any other I have ever tried! The owner is amazing and very involved. They are in the middle of a makeover, but it’s very cozy and I can’t wait to come back!

It’s not fancy, but if you can’t make it to mom’s or grandma’s for lunch, this is the next best thing. Everything is fresh and home made. The sandwiches, the soup, and oh yeah, I watched them make my fresh jalapeño hummus. Will definitely be back!

I usually eat lunch at Tabatha’s while getting my old changed in the plaza it is located in. The owners are very friendly and the food is extremely fresh. I really like the chicken pesto Panini with their homemade hummus and chips. It’s not somewhere I would drive out-of-the-way to get to but if I’m in the area around lunchtime I would definitely stop in.

Only tried here once but had a good experience. Had the Cuban panini. It was pretty good, just nothing amazing. Suggest take out as it is really cramped inside. Overall 3⁄5. Will go back at some point.

My mother and I visited Tabitha’s last weekend for lunch. We ordered the corn chowder, a veggie Modena and the bbq chicken pita melt. Everything was so delicious and fresh. The corn chowder was my favorite, the flavor was very savory and the consistency was just right! It was so good that my mother ordered one to go! The staff was very nice, professional and warm. It’s the kind of place where people will know your name and look forward to seeing you again. It feels like having a meal at your sweet Aunt Donna’s house ;-) wonderful experience, I’d recommend this place to anyone!

This has been a go to place of mine for years. I recently moved to Arizona and came back to visit to find one my favorite places turned upside down. Quality of food has gone down. I had cold chicken in my panini which looked like it had been pre made and then slightly warmed. The turkey sausage in my boyfriends panini was cold as well… as if it was prepackaged, kept in a fridge, and then carelessly put in his sandwich. There is no way you can call yourself«garden fresh». There are so many local farmers around the area, you would expect a fresh product. I was just completely taken a back and extremely disappointed at what happened here. Luckily, the service is still up to par. Where is Brad and his daughter? Has there been a change in owners? I’ve ranted and raved about this place for years and unfortunately I can no longer speak so highly of Tabitha’s. Please bring back fresh ingredients and employees that care about the business as much as the owner does.

Tabitha’s is a great, little, hidden gem in Davie. It’s unexpected. The menu has a variety of salads, wraps, panninis, and sandwiches(on focaccia!). They even have a healthier version of pizza made as a pita melt. So good! Prices generally are in the $ 6-$ 12 range. Everything is made freshly as orders are placed. I’ve tried at least 6 different items on Tabitha’s menu and all were good. Nothing that will make you scream out in joy from a flavor explosion, but solidly tasty. I alternate ordering whatever is that day’s special(my usual), the Olé Olé Olé(similar to a Mexican pizza), the chicken pesto pannini, and the caprese sandwich, which can be ordered hot or cold. Until I tried it here, it never occurred to me to have a warm caprese sandwich, but it’s so good! Of course I’m a sucker for just about anything with lots of gooey, melted cheese. I recommend getting the Jalapeño hummus for the side that comes with most dishes. Tabitha’s is a nice, tiny, family-owned local business. Give it a try if you’re in the area, particularly for lunch. The food is solidly consistent and unique for the area.

This is a CATERINGREVIEW. I had to order lunch for a work meeting and someone suggested Tabitha’s Bistro. We have a lot of healthy eaters in the group. After looking at their menu, I knew it would be a hit. Paninis, Wraps, Hummus, Salads, etc. I called and left a message since they opened a little later. I received a call back from Giles. I asked for his recommendations since it was my first time ordering from here. He helped me with my order. In the morning Giles called to confirm the order. It was for 11:30am. They arrived on time. The food looked and tasted delicious. I am sure this group will be ordering again. We ordered the Chicken Pesto Paninis, Santa Fe Wraps, Ceasar Wrap, Maya’s Meatball, and the Strawberry, Greek and Thai salads with Chicken. The salads looked delish. All the wraps and paninis all came with a side of chips and hummus. The hummus was so good, everyone used it as a spread for their paninis. YUM!!!

Small, family owned café in Davie. They serve lots of healthy options from salads to wraps & sandwiches. I tried the eggplant panini, which was decent but nothing too special. It came with a small amount of pita chips and hummus. I really liked the curry hummus— wished I had more chips to eat it with. Overall this seems like a nice place to get a quick healthy lunch with regular prices(7 – 9 dollars for a sandwich or wrap), though I don’t have much interest in coming back.

My boyfriend and I came to Tabitha’s Bistro for lunch on a Saturday and immediately fell in love with this restaurant. I felt like I was entering an inviting country home, being that this place is family-owned. The walls were filled with musical instruments and old time Broadway show posters and what seems to me like old family photos. For my first visit I ordered the Pesto Chicken Panini with their Homemade Jalapeño Hummus. The food was light, tasty and flavorful. The hummus was fresh and made every bite of my panini taste better than the one before. I would definitely return again for lunch to try more of their menu. The price was reasonable for lunch and the food portion was just right. We were given a «Yum Card» which rewards your visits with a freebie after a few stamps. Thanks and we’ll be returning soon for round 2!

Great mom and pop place to eat fresh ingredients and served with arms open wide. I was meeting a friend, we both missed lunch and figured should catch up over food. We both haven’t been to Tabitha’s Bistro yet but heard great things. Near a car dealership and Lube place, Tabitha’s is that hidden Gem. My first time out to eat with my little one in a baby carriage, and I felt comfortable here. There are a couple tables outside with a parking lot view, and little tables inside, not that many tables this place is small afterall. The waitress gave me the rundown of how everything works. Order at the cash and pay, then find a spot to sit and your food will be made to order(you can pick your cheese or leave out items easily), then brought out to you. The most popular dish ordered is the Pesto Chicken Panini, and the Jalapeño Hummus and pita chips so I went with that. The foccacia bread is toasted in a panini press, with the bites I took the pesto made the chicken fall out of the foccacia, I went and grabbed a fork to eat my sandwich. I found the bread to make the sandwich a little dry, so I found a solution by putting the homemade Jalapeño hummus in the sandwich… much better. Great flavors there’s Provalone cheese, spinach, sundried tomatoes and grilled onions besides the grilled chicken that was Real and juicy, they clearly make from scratch and hormone free. Half the sandwich was filling enough for me and I saved the other half for later to toast up for my husband to try. The pita chips taste like the perfect kind you get from a bag, maybe? My friend ordered the Grilled Eggplant Panini and enjoyed it very much. Her side was the hummus of the day –Sundried tomato with pita chips. Her grilled panini had garlic herb butter, grilled Eggplant, red onions, spinach, tomato, provolone cheese. She loved every bite. We both will come back here. The fresh combination of ingredients makes the food flavorful. The warm friendly wait staff can offer suggestions if you can’t make up your mind.

This place is very family owned! The owner or manager that helped me was very welcoming. I ordered the turkey bacon and lettuce, tomato sandwich. It was very good and came with hummus as a spread. Affordable and comes with a salad or hummus side. I went here because I was getting my car serviced and it was walking distance. Very relaxed place to study have a coffee and get something simple to eat. Not many outlets around to charge computers.

My friend and I came to this place twice so far and the services has been amazing every time. The prices are pretty good. It’s one of those places that definitely make you feel at home. This reminds me of those little restaurants you can only find in small towns and being from Texas I found this place very charming. Every time my friend and I come here we’ve also dined outside. The restaurant is in an area where it’s not too loud and are able to have a conversation outside.
The first time I came here I ordered the Chicken Pesto Panini. It had fresh spinach and sun-dried tomatoes with provolone cheese. I also got a Caesar salad that was perfect on the side. Their sweet is really good and made the whole meal perfect.
The second time I came back I got the days special which was the Bar-B-Q Chicken Whole Wheat Pita Melt. It came with a side of tortilla chips and homemade salsa. Once again I had to have some of that sweet tea. The services is always awesome and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

When my friend and I read fresh, we instantly had to try Tabitha’s and my tastebuds are delightfully happy that I did. There’s two tables outside and around 4 or so inside. They make their own iced tea and lemonade, and probably many other menu items. They really cater to their customers and they made sure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. I ordered a caprese panini with a side salad and a big refillable cup of Arnold Palmer(iced tea and lemonade mix) it was around $ 11. And half my sandwich was left to indulge in later. The sandwich was a fantastic flavor explosion. The focaccia was not too strong on herbs and perfectly toasted, it was oozing with cheese and it was simple and impeccable. Next time I’ll get the pesto on the side, it was delicious but there was a little too much. They even gave me a side of balsamic to dunk my sandwich in. The salad had chickpeas, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, chickpeas and croutons. It was refreshing, crisp and perfect and came with a simple but scrumptious house vinaigrette. I was really happy that the salad didn’t only have two toppings like many other places. This is tucked away in a tranquil neighborhood, the staff is very considerate and they are wholly dedicated to their business; and it shows. The food is out of this world and the only thing I would change is that it would be closer to my home. I can’t wait to take my husband and have another amazing lunch.

This place definitely has fresh, great tasting food. I ordered the chicken pesto panini(sub swiss cheese and no tomatoes). My son had a kids cheddar panini that came with a giant chocolate chip cookie, and my friend had the cubanini. Ours came with a choice of side: either homemade salsa, hummus and pita chips or jalapeño hummus and pita chips. I opted for the jalapeño hummus which was their more popular option. My friend ordered the salsa. I also got their homemade turkey chili which i was told they were famous for. After the counter guy took our oder, we immediately had to pay before getting our food which made me a little nervous. After about 20 min, our food was brought out to us. Everything looked delicious! My chicken pesto panini had such flavor, I couldn’t stop eating it. The cubanini looked a little skimp but that too was still packed with flavor. The jalapeño hummus was to die for. I eventually started dipping my chicken pesto in that and it was awesome! The salsa was meh, my friend quickly regretted not getting the jalapeño hummus. My son’s cheddar panini was mostly bread but my son devoured the entire thing and half the cookie. The turkey chili could have been a meal in itself. It was perfectly seasoned, had just the right spice, and was in no way lacking in meat. Fantastic! I will definitely be back but not as often as I’d like due to the prices. It cost about $ 35 for 2 Panini’s and a kids panini. But those prices are as expected for such fresh food. Love this place!

I was starving while driving down University Drive and the only options I could see were either greasy fast food or nice sit down locations. Pressed for time I Unilocaled it and found this little family owned gem. The owner went through the entire menu with me. Paninis, cold sandwiches, pita«melts», and salads are the options. I decided on their«biggest seller”/specialty, chicken pesto panini. They will give you a few options for a side(hummus, chips, or salad) with no additional cost for the salad. I had my sandwich within 7 minutes and it was very good! I shall be back for the«BLC» sandwich next time.

I wasn’t wowed with Tabitha’s Bistro. Food wasn’t bad, service was so so. Details if you care: I didn’t call ahead and order because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to eat in or take out. Once I got there, the driver was at the counter with several to go bags and he was packing them with lunches. I had a look around and the place was small and cute, but the tables were cramped, and that is not something I do well with if the place starts getting busy, so I opted for take out. The delivery driver took my order, and he was pleasant. I sat down at a table near the drink machine and waited. The driver finished packing up and he grabbed the bags… I ran over to the door and opened it for him, and he was trying not to trouble me, but I went ahead and opened it for him anyway. Then I sat down again, and waited. No one else was out front. I had a view of the kitchen, and could see they were very busy in there. After a few more minutes, a couple came in. Another guy emerged from the kitchen and was helping them. I saw a container placed on the window counter, and thought that may be my order. The lady was asking a lot of questions and couldn’t decide so she asked for a sample. Now, me, I am impatient. I know this about myself, so I don’t make issues… but honestly, this was ticking me off. I was thinking while she was trying her sample, that would have been a great time for the counter dude to hand me my order. Meanwhile, someone else walked in, and was in line. Finally the couple got their order placed and sat down. The guy behind the counter realized that I was the person waiting for that order sitting there and bagged it and handed to me. I bolted! As for the food, I had higher hopes because of the other reviews. I ordered a Cubanini, which has ham, turkey, swiss and pickle. This was okay. The mustard really overpowered it. The panini bread just isn’t my thing, but I tried it! I would like a more meat to bread ratio. The hummus was interesting. I didn’t really like my first bite of it, but I think it is growing on me. I wanted to try the original before I got into the the other varieties. I may try Tabitha again, but I will call in the order and pick it up. I will try other things on the menu next time.
