Nails Lamour

This place is TERRIBLE! Let me just start by saying that it was recommended to me by a co-​worker who said their service was great. I decided to check it out on my hour lunch break since I figured I could get a quick mani done within that time. When I arrived it seemed busy like there was people waiting for services, but the man at the counter sat me immediately and I was instantly pleased that I didn’t have to wait. But that was just the beginning of the most terrible experience! The woman that was doing my nails was more focused on her conversation with the woman next to her than on my nails and would stop every few seconds to continue her conversation. When she finally began to focus on my manicure, she asked if I was working today, my reply was «yes, and I’m on my lunch break», from that point forward it was like she really just didn’t care what she was doing to my nails. So she filed them all crooked, didn’t even fully remove the previous nail polish I had on, AND when she got tired of cutting my cuticles she said «you have too much cuticle, you go home each day and push back you own cuticle so it no stick». I have NEVER had a nail tech tell me that specially if I’m paying for the service! If It was that simple to do it myself then I wouldn’t be going to have someone else do it! Duh! I was done in 36 minutes which is great for a lunch break mani, but it was the worst spent 36 minutes! I’m telling you, FIND ANOTHER PLACE!

What can I say. I started coming here about 6 months ago. At first, it seemed like a quality place. The people were friendly and the work was good. This has changed lately. I went today, and by the time he finished with my acrylic fill in. They were SO short. I asked to trim down a little. Then he cut me with the electric drill. He immediately tried to hide it from the man that controls the front saying «the boss will yell at me if he sees this» …ummmmm. So after I’m bleeding and my nails are short, I decided against the pedicure and just went for polish change. I bought my own color. When finished he pocketed my polish. When done, I said «can I have my polish back». He acted like he was so offended, and was so sarcastic saying «yes, yes, I give you polish». At this time, a customer returned to complain about her eyebrows. She was very polite, and stating how they were uneven, and not as she requested. There was NO empathy at all from the «boss» man, it the tech that did it. At that time, the customer escalated stating she would never return. This USED to be a decent spot… No more. Stay away!!!

In town from CA vacationing during Spring Break. Went for pedi & gel manicure with my mom & daughters. Service was great. We had a 10:30am appt., no wait. We were greated by Lee. Tracy did my much needed pedicure. She was meticulous & friendly. Totally recommend this salon 100%.

Ive been to nail salons all over South Florida… no comparison! They pay so much attention to the details… and the massage chairs are AMAZEBALLS! Do yourself a favor and come here!

For nails only. They do a great job on nails, but I go elsewhere for a pedicure. I enjoy going to them

I was recommended to this place over 5 years ago and when I go elsewhere I always regret it. I can’t speak for everyone that works there because I am not sure — but I can highly recommend Daisy for Mani/​Pedi (which by the way she is talented when it comes to designs) and her husband when I decide to put a full set.
