Davie Ranch

My husband and I had our wedding reception at this beautiful ranch 01÷23÷16. The barn was clean and decorated perfectly. The animals were an extra treat. I know the guests loved seeing the horses, rabbits, dogs and goats around the Ranch. Megan and her staff at the ranch were great and very accommodating to our big and rowdy crowd. We did have a large party of about 140 – 150 people. The caterer, which we got through the ranch, was great and there was more than enough and delicious. We did hire our own band, The Uproot Hootenanny, which rocked it and kept everyone on the dance floor. I really could have not have asked for a more beautiful place to have this type of party. We have not stopped hearing how «this was the best wedding reception they have ever been too!» If your looking for a unique party venue for any occasion look no further. You will not be disappointed.

If you are looking for the perfect location for a birthday party for small children, between 2 – 6 this place has it going on. With amazing customer service, they greet you at the gate and help unload your car, with little direction needed set up the entire party area with all your decorations, clean up, and help you put everything back in the car! And that’s just set up and clean up.
The grounds are beautifully kept up and so are the animals! In the front are the horses and ponies. Since they offer riding lessons there is a wide selection of saddles and bridles. The trainers are quite knowledgeable about the different types of riding gear. For the purpose of this birthday, they had the ponies all ready to go, all the children needed was to pick out a helmet.
The petting zoo is one of the best I’ve ever been to. Clean and looks like a learning center with wood tables and stools. It is also closely monitored.
Outdoors they have a huge tree house, the kind you are on the show Tree House Masters. The kids all loved it and the tree swing. The owners also had a bounce house and bounce slides.
It was a great party!

Happy New Year! What better way to start the year than with a great party?
Usually when invited to children’s parties, I know that my son will be disinterested with the entertainment and I will have to chase after him the entire time. Davie Ranch was like a dream come true.
Barn? Check!
Stable? Check!
Horses large and small? Check!
Extras!!!

Davie Ranch is incredible! They are extremely organized and are able to entertain lots and lots of children at the same time. Because they had several stations, outdoor slides etc., petting zoo, and pony rides– the lines for each activity wasn’t too long. With an overactive 2 year old this is ESSENTIAL! Patience has yet to be learned, and waiting can become quite an experience. Even with a double birthday party, we only had to wait 5 minutes to get on the pony (and it took that long to get a helmet on)!
The petting zoo was one of the best experiences I’ve had. With assistance from the staff, my son was able to pet the animals without any injury or a terrible scene because an animal was taken from him. Though there are many animals to pet, I selected bunny rabbits, Guinea pigs, and the sheep. The staff made sure my son was careful and gentle in an extremely professional and kid friendly way. I could tell everyone in the room was enjoying. It was obvious this establishment understands children!
Bonus star: even in the rain the party didn’t end. The horse trainers led the ponies and horses through the stables so the children could still get the experience of riding a horse!
Definitely a fantastic day!

This is a great outdoor spot for kids and families. They have many trees and animals, including horses, donkeys, and chickens. They have a petting zoo, tree house, and fire pit for s’mores. It’s a nice open-​air place to spend a few hours in on a quiet afternoon.

Absolutely love the Davie Ranch! I bring my kids for their «open play» every weekend. Staff is super friendly. This is by far the cleanest barn I have ever visited… All of the animals are well cared for! Love the rock star chickens they have in the chicken coop!
