Davie Lacrosse

Davie Lacrosse is an excellent program for kids (and their parents too). Most of the games are played at Bamford Park on Pine Island north of Griffin. The kids learn a lot, have a ton of fun and play the coolest sport in the country.
Davie Lacrosse offers a Rec program from January through April and it leads directly into the Davie Barracudas Travel program which is AWESOME! They always have something going on wether it is a short season, training, travel, rec or the new Box Lacrosse, it will keep your kids busy almost year round.

Lacrosse is a sport that has been growing rapidly across the country and Davie Lacrosse has been doing a great job developing young lacrosse players since 2008.
Davie Bronco’s is the recreational team for girls and boys ages K-​9^th Grade, not only for Davie, but for all of the surrounding areas. The season runs from the end of January to the end of April. Practices are two nights a week with games on Saturday.
Lacrosse has some elements of soccer, football, and hockey. But mostly, it is a ton if fun for both the kids and parents! Along the way, the players become better all around athletes, fair competitors, get improved agility & conditioning, and have made some great friends. The parents make some great friends as well!
Davie Lacrosse sponsors other programs as well: Fast Start Clinics several times a year to teach new & more advanced players the game, Summer League, Fall Ball, Barracudas Travel, Private Instruction… all give players various options to learn & advance in the game.
Practices & many games are held at Bamford Sports Complex. The founders & organizers, Pete, his wife Carmen, and Shaun really want to help kids fall in love with this sport and advance the game. They are very approachable if anyone has any questions.
