Angelo’s Pizza Express

The place is not clean and they don’t have the best presentation. But I they really have the best pizzas than I never proved before. Congratulations for that, but I think than be a little clean can be better.

Food here is pretty solid. Pizza is delicious! Their lasagna, and stuffed shells are ok. Chicken carbonara would be amazing if they salted the pasta water before boiling the spaghetti. This place is worth a try.

Their pizzas and calzones are delicious! I would describe their pizza more of a gourmet style pizza.

Low key, take out joint with pretty good pizza at a very reasonable cost. I always get the lunch special– 2 slices & a soda for $ 5, or 1 slice, side salad and soda for $ 5. The pizza has a thin crust and a good amount of cheese. Slice size is normal.
Angelo’s is not about ambience. It’s about pizza and really is a neighborhood take out place where you order at the counter. There are a few tables inside and outside, but no service staff. Each time I’ve been there, service at the counter was quick and courteous. Like most places serving slices, the pizza was pre-​made and put back into the oven to heat.
I have no complaints about Angelo’s and will be back for another slice.

Not bad, just not great.
I pass by this place once in awhile, and thought I would hit them finally. It is a tiny take out shop and when I was there, two guys were it. I phoned in my order and got there while it was still in the oven.
They do have a table inside, but I would be really uncomfortable eating there. The table is just in front of the counter, and the oven and two guys are right there in front. So, unless you are chummy with these fellas or love to have people watch you eat, I recommend getting the order to go.
I went with a sausage and mushroom pie and when I opened it, I was disappointed, and happy at the same time. I loved that they don’t use canned mushrooms, but disappointed with the sausage. I like a more crumbly sausage on the pizza. This sausage had a pressed sphere shape to it, and the flavor was just okay.
The whole thing together was okay, and about what I was expecting for the low price. If I order from these guys again, I will definitely get extra cheese, maybe extra sauce even. I really couldn’t taste it very well.
The guy behind the counter was very nice and he made sure I got a menu to take with me, so I will try something else and maybe update this.

Just stopped in and ordered 2 slices and a soda (lunch special) to go. It’s 4.75 plus tax. I added sausage to my slices and chose bottled water, and my total was 6.06 with tax. Very affordable, and the pizza was great. Big slices, nice and crispy, and not too greasy. The guy who took my order was very friendly and helpful. He gave me a menu and struck up a conversation while I was waiting (only about 5 minutes, if that long). He then held the door open for me as I left. The guy who took my payment looked grumpy — he didn’t crack a smile and barely said a word. (Something tells me he’s the manager/​owner…) It’s a small place with a TV and one table with two chairs. I would definitely return and recommend this place.

I’m from New York so pizza is a very touchy subject when it comes to traveling. I came to Angelos for the first time today for there so called «NY style» pizza and I must say that I am impressed. The owners are very nice and the pizza was delicious. We tried a few plain and pepperoni slices and they were thin and crispy just like they should be. Very good pizza I will definitely be back soon.

Great pizza! Live nearby and it is our go-​to pizza place. We typically order take out as quicker depending on the day and time we order but delivery is timely if not that busy.
I call and they know immediately it’s me! (Assume by the phone number). Friendly location — good lunch specials.
Overall, a good place for the money and if you are just looking for great pizza!

The staff here is so rude, I was talked down to and SCREAMED AT by the man who answers the phone, and also the delivery boy that has an afro. They didnt even get my order right– once I told the delivery boy this, he then ATTEMPTED to make me pay for somebody else’s order. I cancelled my order and got a call back from the same rude guy on the phone, and he cursed me out for cancelling. Did he ever think that maybe my appetite was lost after being mistreated? After being verbally abused? I even gave them another chance. I called in and was disrespected YET AGAIN by the same man on the phones. Once I told him my name, he then remembered and brought up what happened last time. I told him I felt uncomfortable, and will take my business elsewhere. He then had the nerve to say «DONT THREATEN ME WOMAN» I dont even know what the food is like because BOTH times I attempted eating there, I was disrespected and treated like a common street thug. They shouldnt be in the restaurant business with that kind of attitude. I am utterly shocked and traumatized.

Honestly I have been coming here forever! The new owners are extremely nice! I love the white pizza with spinach and tomatoes! You also have to try the cannoli for dessert!!!

I have received nothing but great services from this place. The food always been delivered in appropiate amount of time and so far everything I had order has been delicious. Their pasta dinner are very big, enough for two people or to have leftover for next day. And their pizza is great, forget Papa John’s, Domino’s or Pizza Hut, the got them all licked.
Make them your local pizza joint, you won’t be disappointed.

Less than average pizza, slow
so tasteless.

Nothing special. Took an hour to deliver pizza, pasta and a couple sodas. and then they forgot the sodas which weren’t delivered until after we were finished eating. The pizza did not pass the pizza test, it was too soggy. The pasta, penne vodka was yummy. Everything came slightly cold. It was eh-​ok.

The pizza is really good. I love the meatball sub and the carbonara is pretty damn good too.

The best at the best price, this pizza makes me come back for more always. The owner Steve is quality people, always enjoy going there.
