This company is the WORST! My elderly parents are moving in with my husband and I as it has become too difficult for them to live on their own. We wanted to move specific items now and deal with the rest at a later date. Alliance quoted a price per pound price based on the specified furniture, and full packing of specified items(kitchen, china, etc). My mom even put notes on furniture that said ‘Take’ & ‘Leave”. Two days later, two sketchy guys showed up at 8:30 p.m. with 25% of the furniture, one of their two bed pillows and the fitted sheet, no flat sheet, blankets or comforter, their mattress was soaked on two corners, their dresser mirror was shattered, the china was in a ‘Dish Pack’ without any dividers or section supports and several small items that my parents requested(extra) were left behind as well. The Mayflower truck sat in the street until 9:00 p.m. while the driver and I argued about cash payment in full that was based on weight, when they had left the bulk of the weight behind. In the end we had no choice but to pay them cash in full, which included additional charges for the«extra» items that they brought. I have sent numerous emails and called several times to no avail. My husband and I are in the process of making arrangements to get the belongings from Oregon that we paid Alliance to move. However, I am far from done with pursuing Alliance. Thank you to the other reviewer for providing additional complaint resources. I am fortunate to have a judge and two attorneys in my family.

This business is mainly a scam. They offer low rates, then find reasons to raise them. They are incompetent, on purpose, so that you have to continually call them, chase them down and force them to show up. They add fees, pretend to call to deliver, say they had to store things, then charge again. Their movers look like they just walked out of a prison yard, and speak and act the same. No accountability, no responsibility. They just take money and hold goods hostage. It’s been nearly two months since my daughter’s things were shipped, and they still have not been delivered. We are reporting them to the Denver Police Department, the United States Department of Transportation, the Florida Attorney General’s Office, the Washington Attorney General’s Office, the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, the New York Attorney General’s Office, the Better Business Bureau, and . They are shifty, with addresses in different states, phone numbers that do not answer, and no replies when talking to someone. These people need to be arrested. Beware. Do not, repeat DONOT get involved with this criminal gang.
