I typically go to another location but I wanted to check this one out. It’s a bit smaller than the one in Deerfield Beach and not as well stocked in my opinion. The woman stocking shelves was throwing boxes every which way blocking the aisle for customers. She seemed less than thrilled to be there on a Sunday evening. All that aside, the produce prices are fantastic! We also got an extra large cheese pizza in the refrigerated section for $ 4.99. I have to say it was excellent! We picked up a few other staple items and $ 45 later we had a ton of things. $ 45 doesn’t seem to go as far at Publix. The cashier was super friendly, which balanced out the other employee. For those not familiar with Aldi, you pay 25 cents to unlock a shopping cart. You get your quarter back once you return it. The stores operate with about 3 staff members so you’ve got 1 cashier, 1 person stocking, and 1 person doing anything and everything. You bag your own groceries so bring reusable bags or you can buy paper bags at 6 cents each. The business model is good if you want no frills!

Aldi is fantastic! It’s very clean,(even the ladies room is clean), the store is very organized and the help is really good. If I don’t see something stocked, I ask and they will go in the back to get it for me and then restock the empty shelf. I spend half of what I would spend in Publix and the quality of their foods is excellent. Simply Organic is great and I also like the Fit & Active line. They have gluten free, if that is what you buy, and I have tried some of those items, like the crackers, and they were delicious. I buy a whole chicken for under $ 5.00 and it’s at least $ 9.00 at Publix. It’s better than the chicken at Publix. The prices are astonishing and you hear people talk about that as they walk through the store. A bag of baby carrots for $.59, seriously? Absolutely delicious flavored gourmet coffee for under $ 4.00!!! Lowfat granola for $ 1.79, not kidding, and scrumptious. The best frozen cheese pizza for $ 2.29! I like bagging my own groceries so I certainly don’t have a problem with that. I am in and out of the store in 20 minutes, the check-out is super fast and the people who check you out are very nice. They have new items each week, like edamame pasta, where else would you find that? They carry really nice seasonal items too. I highly recommend this store. They just started accepting credit cards. The store is definitely worth a try. If you are looking for quality items at an excellent price, this is the place to shop!

Cheap… Yes. That’s the only reason I am giving two stars… I think that as a «new store»… There needs to be a person At the front to greet you. Someone to explain the quarter in the cart, the fact you will need to bring your own bags or you can buy them. 10cents is cheap… But knowing your options before you fill up your cart is nice. Also… So many of the frozen items boxes where open. Maybe poor handling in the shipping or stocking… But no thank u… I don’t want already opened food. As I was checking out the cashier just seemed like a robot… No smile and made me feel more like a number than a welcomed customer. She was ringing things and just slinging them in the cart. I didn’t know you then had to walk over with your bags and bag the items yourself. She was telling me my total before I was told that I needed to go to the wall to bag my stuff. Ok. Well thank u. Now that I have felt a bit rushed while she saw me trying to bag as she was slinging things at me as I was grabbing items. Uh RUDE!!! I even told her it was a bit overwhelming and she said«we’re just fast paced»… Wtf is that. How about slow it down and with a friendly smile… Let me know what I’m suppose to do. Ugh. Just left that place saying never again. I’d spend the Extra $ anytime to feel welcomed. Trader Joes is my go to spot. At least I tried. Aldis is not for me. Hopefully the food will be good! Hopefully others have a better experience.

Nice store. Was clean. Many of the eggs in the various cartons were broken, but I think that’s a function of customers and not the store. Only downside was very busy when I went and checkout was slow; and they were out of boneless chicken breasts(was a sale that week so not shocked either). Other than that nothing bad to say.

Love this store so organized and inexpensive! I think I’ve tried almost everything they sell as these brands are only Aldi distributed and its fresh healthy delicious food. Like it should be

So I stumbled upon 3.5 stars for this location when I was looking up their hours and thought, «WTF, they have a lower review than the Pines location,» which I can say the management there is definitely not as good as it is at this one. Granted this one is new. Aldi is a German chain that exclusively produces and sells their own private label. They do get weekly items from brand name distributors, which is obviously discounted to them. I hear many of the brand name items are produced in the very same factory and the taste will prove that. You’re just paying more to offset the branded company’s advertising cost and shelf space at the supermarkets. Aldi is not a one stop shop. They purposely don’t carry 10 brands and varieties of peanut butter for a reason. They don’t give plastic bags and lend you a shopping cart for 25 cents because un-be-know-eth to most grocery shoppers, Publix and Walmart actually factor that into the price of their items. Also, when you return the cart you get the 25 cents back because it saves them having to have an extra employee fetch your carts. You do want your quarter back, right? That’s also why their layout is like Costco where they don’t shelf items. Also, why they don’t accept credit cards. That is how Aldi saves and can transfer that savings to you. Aldi can be a hit or miss when it comes to produce and seasonal items. They run out of produce or items even, produce does not look fresh and/or turns bad rather quickly. They don’t refrigerate their produce(NOT meat, of course they refrigerate that) because they get daily shipments. Guess it saves them an extra fridge, too. So one week I’ll find treasures like organic items or super cheap fruit, and the next week maybe not so much. It just makes for an interesting shopping trip for me. Never know what I will get except their staples which I stock a few because I know they can sometimes run out as mentioned. Oh, and I really don’t want to get into how the line can be so slow if someone in it doesn’t realize they don’t accept credit cards or just requires more attention. That’s my minus star. Today I bought 2lbs of red grapes for $ 2.29, organic chicken stock, ketchup and spaghetti sauce are $ 1.79(everyday items). There’s a lot more that I don’t feel like typing out today. Let’s just say for the items they do carry and especially the organic and season items it is by far cheaper than Walmart much less Publix and/or Whole Foods. Granted it’s not a lot or 5 varieties of it. They are even selling gluten-free items. I will also include this link about their removal of artificial ingredients. Yeah, you’re not getting that at Walmart or Publix for the price that Aldi sells it for. So you see it’s all very strategic in what they do with their shopping carts, lack of bags and how they have their aisles set up. I appreciate how Aldi saves me money and I know and have adapted to their business model with what I just mentioned. So I’ll leave by saying, so what if I went to The Forge or HakkaSan and then stormed out crying because I didn’t do my research and they charged me $ 10 for tap water in a carafe(true story) among other very expensive items? Does my whining make their food any less legit(granted The Forge was underwhelming)? Did my lack of knowledge and research make that restaurant any suckier just because they are hella expensive or whatever? Uhh yeah, you be the judge.

I would rate this joke of a market 1 star but since I did save a whopping 3 dollars, I thought I’d be generous. Prepare to be inconvenienced at each turn here. Their shopping carts are locked by what I can only assume is sorcery and they don’t bag anything for you. The best strategy to shop here is to learn how to carry a lot, shop light, or don’t shop here at all. Guess which one I’m choosing?

I finally decided to check this supermarket out. Per family members I was told it was extremely cheap and yes they were right. They don’t have all of the selections of a larger super market but they have your main pantry and cold items. The items here are their store brand I purchased some spaghetti and pasta sauce and some snacks as well as pork chops. I Haven’t tried them yet but that will determine if I come back or not. It’s a pretty small supermarket so you find yourself going in and right out without buying the extra unnecessary things. Just make sure you take your reusable bags and a quarter for the cart which will be returned to you when you put the cart back in its place.
