Harris Teeter

Awesome grocery store! Always clean & employees are always friendly & helpful. One diligent employee, Colton I think is his name, is always super polite & smiling, & was one of the 1^st people I encountered when we first moved to Davidson. He was a great rep & 1^st impression for the people of this little town. I have never had a negative experience at this store.

Be careful when buying from this location. A lot of the items on the shelves are expired. I bought chop meat on September 7^th and when I got home the expiration date said August 10^th. It looked fine which leads me to believe that they freeze it. There’s been plenty of times I’ve looked at items on the shelf and they’re expired by a few weeks and when you bring it up to an employee they pretty much shrug their shoulders and that’s it. Also if you look a lot of their sales are a sham where you end up paying more money. The most recent example I had to buy bird seed for my bird feeder and they had two 5lb bags for $ 7.50 but if you buy the single 10lb bag of the same brand it’s only $ 5. It’s like that with a lot of their sales that involve twofers or multiple items for a certain price. It may look like a good deal but if you investigate you can by the bigger size single item same quantity and same brand for cheaper. This location also hardly has anything stocked on the shelves. Especially in the mornings. I’ve never been in a grocery store where 9 o’clock on a Sunday morning there’s no bread on the shelves. The Harris Teeter on Sam Furr rd is much better store. This store is always clean so I’ll give it two stars for that but that’s the only thing going for it.

When we need cheap, generic groceries Harris Teeter is our place to go. We generally frequent the one off exit 25, but I will sometimes stop here on my way home from work to pick up some last minute dinner supplies.
The layout is pretty much the same as any other Harris Teeter, with a bright, clean interior and decent produce selection. I’m also a fan of the alcohol selection, as Harris Teeters stock a decent selection of beers and wines. The cashiers remain fast and there is a Redbox inside in case I need to drop off a return or want to pick up something for that night.
My only real complaint with this store is the location. It’s extremely close to some schools, and by the time I get out of work (around 2:00ish) the kids are beginning to get out as well. That means the parents are plowing into the store at the same time, either picking up groceries before the little munchkins come home or with the kids already in tow. This makes for some pretty crazy lines and a frustrating parking lot. If you are going to go here, I highly recommend doing it either before or way after school lets out.

I bought a lemon but all the watermelons were gone. Bummer.

Gonna give this Teeter the coveted 5 stars. Echoing the reviewer before me, this location is very clean and organized. The staff are incredibly friendly. More than friendly, they are proactive! I almost always hear, «Did you find everything you are looking for?» «Can I help you find something?» «Hi Ma’am, how are you?» In fact, the staff are so helpful that one day I couldn’t find the salad dressing I wanted at the salad bar and a staff member went to the back and brought me a new bottle. He also said that he would special order a dressing if there was one I wanted that they didn’t have! Talk about service!
I also like this location because there is a Starbucks for my quick fix. Parking is a breeze since it has a huge private lot (it is shared with some other stores). Overall, this Harris Teeter has everything I need!

Right on the outskirts of the town of Davidson stands this Harris Teeter, amid 2 private schools & a small nice looking shopping /​dining area.
This location is clean, organized and has the most friendly associates. What’s neat about this store too, is they all wear the same colored uniforms — light blue polo shirts & khakis. Many of the associates look high school /​college age & they’re all very sweet & use good manners.
Produce & deli area always offers fresh looking items.
They’re are plenty of associates around to check you out, so there isn’t a line of waiting customers. There’s also plenty of parking.
And yes, there is a Starbucks & a pharmacy.
Easy on & off access from I-​77 & the Davidson area.
