This place is amazing! The aloha player was half pulled port and chicken and I could not have been more impressed! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is one of a kind! Also, try the evils roll, you’ll be glad you did

Love this hidden little gem in the hilltop of Davenport. The menu is not large, but the taste of the items that are offered are a treat for the taste buds. They do offer specials that are advertised in advance on their Facebook page, so be sure to check there ahead of your visit. The Garlic Chili Shrimp is my absolute favorite thing on the menu. It’s hot and spicy… And the red cabbage egg roll that is paired with it is delicious too. My son orders the Big Kahuna Nachos and has worked his way up to ghost chili hot… Yeap! They have a hotness scale at the bar area that you can add on to your meal. Be daring and try adding some! Most importantly you have to wrap up your meal with an Elvis egg roll… The banana cream is so yummy and the mix of peanut butter and banana normally isn’t my favorite thing, but in this egg roll it hits the spot.

So glad I spent my money here. This place is very affordable and probably doesn’t need to be with how great it is. Delicious food and kind people. I had the Hawaiian pulled pork tacos and the veggies were so fresh and yummy.

I’ve only been here a couple times. However, the food is awesome. Prices weren’t too terribly high yet. But i imagine they’ll creep up as the popularity of this place does too. The first time there, they were kinda busy so i sat at the bar cause i’m a loser and was eating alone. The staff were really nice and even mistakenly gave me an extra taco(which were amazing). I’ve only had a few things but I’m fairly confident everything on their menu is probably great.

Truly a must try in QCA. Unique island inspired meals. Which island seams to vary by offering. But everything is delicious, and staff is great. Tiny place, and easy to miss. You will not be dissapointed.

Nice Surprise! We drive by Zeke’s often but it didn’t look appealing from the outside so we never tried it. Don’t judge a book by its cover! We were looking for a new lunch place on Unilocal.Zeke’s popped up with 4+ stars so we tried it. Glad we did! The Caribbean food we ordered was delicious. Service was friendly and the prices very reasonable. We enjoyed our meals at the outdoor dining area. Everything was bursting with flavor(they’ll spice it as you like from mild to ghost). The key lime cheesecake was a great finale to a delicious lunch. Definitely recommended. Tried Zeke’s new location. More room, better vibe and better service(waitress vs counter orders). Same great food and very reasonable prices.

My cousin talks about Zeke’s all of the time, so my husband and I decided to see if this place was all Greg said it is. We arranged to meet Greg there on Friday night. We got to Zeke’s a little before Greg did and when I mentioned that we were meeting Greg the gal behind the bar told us where he usually sits(reminded me of Norm from Cheers having his usual spot). She took our drink order and when she brought our drinks she also brought Greg’s usual at the same time. The food was like nothing I’ve had before and when the waitress found out that we had come from Madison just to meet Greg at Zeke’s she offered(and I accepted) a dessert on the house. I wasn’t sure what I was getting when I said yes to the Elvis egg roll but figured that everything else I’d sampled as worth the drive I couldn’t go wrong and I was correct. I will do go back to meet up with Greg at Zeke’s again. The place is a comfortable little storefront with a friendly staff and homemade food. I am impressed on how this place came to be and next time I would love to meet and visit with the owners. My only suggestion would be to lower the volume of the music.

Very fresh alive tropical food. Had Caribbean Jerk Chicken Tacos and fries with habanero ketchup. Tacos came loaded with freshly prepared ingredients and had great flavor. Feels good in my tummy. Would like to try other dishes here. Definitely a summer place!

My wife and I had a great time there. My Cuban pork with rice and beans was excellent! Went well with the Kona beer and pico.

I popped in for a quick lunch while I killed time waiting for an appointment. It was later in the afternoon, close to 2PM, so I figured their lunch rush would be about over. It’s located in what used to be Lumpy’s and they miraculously turned it from a piece of crap hole in the wall to a little island get away kind of vibe. You’d never know you were in the Hilltop neighborhood when you’re in there. Their tables were either occupied or dirty so I hopped up to their bar area. There was a guy behind the bar and a few women down at, what I’m assuming is, the kitchen area. I made eye contact w/the guy but nobody said a word to me. No worries, he’ll get to me in a sec, I thought. The bar was a little cluttered w/napkins and papers but underneath of the napkins I found a laminated menu. I’m looking and looking, still waiting. I made eye contact a few times but still nothing. Finally a server came behind the bar and greeted me after about 10 minutes. I ordered the Caribbean tacos. You get 2 in an order and she said I could mix and match so I got a «zesty sirracha» shrimp and the jerk chicken. It gets served in flour tortillas and comes w/a side of their Hawaiian macaroni pasta salad. The shrimp taco was amazing! It had a little zing to it but nothing overwhelmingly spicy at all! According to a sign they have hanging up, if you order as is, it’s a mild spice and you can choose your level of spiciness if you’d like. I’m a wussy so I left it at is but it was still delicious. Somehow the kitchen messed up and I got another shrimp taco instead of the jerk chicken. How could I not eat that one too? It was too delicious to pass up. Though when I did bring it to the server’s attention, she did offer to get me a jerk chicken taco but by then I was full and wasn’t feeling it. The macaroni salad was a little weird. It tasted like a really sweet mayonnaise. Not really digging the vibe there but ehh. Minus waiting for a good 10 min to be acknowledged, overall, it wasn’t too bad. It’s definitely a nice addition to the neighborhood and a good place for the QC.

Solid 3 stars… Mother recommended this place for island influenced creations as she frequents the joint. My wife and I ordered the nachos and Cuban sandwich to split. The nachos were a work in progress with the construction an issue for us. We commented on them and they made a more traditional version that was wonderful. Crunchy house made fresh chips with melted cheese covering them. Salty pulled pork with a drizzle of barbecue sauce and sour cream. The works was topped with cilantro and a pico mix. The Cuban was filled with pulled pork and sliced ham and topped with pickles and a substantial bun. I felt it was a bit spicy which overpowered everything else, and the bread was a bit tough to chew. It was served with thin cut fries and a tasty habanero ketchup. My mom ordered the salad and is her fav, though I did not try it and cannot comment. They offer some alcoholic beverages and draft beers so my wife ordered a coconut pineapple smoothie and opted for a shot of coconut rum to warm it all up, they were quite impressed! Prices were as expected and ambiance was barren speakeasy converted bar. Hospitality and service was fabulous. I would give this place another shot as it is clearly under construction, but this visit does not warrant being added to the list.

Got the hawaiian pulled pork plate. Taste wise, it was good, but I was hoping it might end up being kalua pork or something like I had in hawaii. Ended up just being pulled pork with a bbq sauce over it. Good, but not amazing. The macaroni salad that came on the side was good, but I wish there was more. It was pretty repetitive eating that much pulled pork and rice over and over again(though I can’t complain for a big portion). I just wish there was more variety. I’m giving this a four in hopes that other things will taste good, if not better than the pulled pork. I definitely want to come back to give other things a try here. I’d probably give just 3 stars for the pulled pork itself. The staff was extremely friendly. They even saw us trying one of the hot sauces and offered to bring us out a free sample of their fresh homemade version of this hot sauce was the kitchen.

When you drive by this place, you will not be inspired to go in. It clearly used to be a fast food restaurant, and it’s not very inviting from the outside. However, if you dare to park and give it a shot, you will be pleasantly surprised at how nice it actually is inside. You go to the counter to order. They bring it to your table. The food is VERY tasty. The default is no-spice, but you can ask for a varied degree of spiciness when you order. I had the special, which was a cuban pork, which they apparently only serve a couple of times a month. It was so good! It came with rice, black beans, and a side of coleslaw. I’d like to return to try something different. They also had teriyaki bowls and salads and fish tacos and shrimp and many more other interesting items… The prices are very reasonable and the portions are good. The staff is very friendly and checks on you frequently. They apparently cater. I’m definitely going back to try some more of their dishes!
