Wise Guys Pizza & More

I was super excited to try this place because of the ratings here, but unfortunately they didn’t hold up. We arrived at the restaurant right after the lunch buffet and seated ourselves (as your suppose to). It took forever for a waitress to come to our table and she didn’t even bring menus when she finally came. We ordered and waited for our food patiently as we watched what seemed like the entire staff to take apart the buffet. None of the staff seemed like they wanted to be there and I don’t even think I saw even our waitress smile until it was time for our check. It was a shame that the service was so terrible because the food was actually really good. That’s probably how they keep getting good ratings because I know with 100% certainty it’s not because of the service. It would also be nice if they checked if you have been there before because there was a lot that you had to figure out for yourself like I said the seating yourself, possibly grabbing your own menus???, and paying up at the register and not your table.
Pizza = great
Breadsticks = amazing (small portions)
Cheese curds = not worth the price (undercooked)
Kids chicken strips = better than most

Decent pizza, we arrived at out hotel close to ten on a weekday so most everything was closing. We called these guys moments before their 10pm close and they were willing to deliver so that was pretty cool, I was afraid they had cut off delivery at 9:30…but nope! We had a medium with pepperoni, olive and onion. The pep is really zesty and delicious, the olives were terrific, great cheese too it didn’t taste like that crap the über chains use. I would definitely try them again if I lived here.

Way over priced. $ 52 for 2 small pizzas and a few garlic bread. Don’t bother unless you like over priced food

Looking for a local pizza joint during one of my frequent visits to the area. Settled on this one as I didn’t recognize the name. Ordered medium pepperoni and had a soda to go. Bill was over $ 20! Pizza was actually pretty good. Cooked perfect, tasty crust, not too much sauce. Lacking in pepperoni though, maybe that’s why they put it under the cheese. Thicker style pizza, definitely not NY style, but definitely NY prices. Too bad, just can’t see spending this type of money for what you get.

still very good. Service still good. They even changed the tv channel to put on a sporting event we wanted to watch. They hv a weeknight buffet which is excellent. Do stop its worth a look!

We waited for an hour and a half for our food to be delivered! The pizza was WELL DONE, but the rest (sandwich and wings) were good. The guy who answered the phone seemed like it was his first day. Train wreck.

First thing, while they did have a nice and clear website, none of the prices are listed anywhere. This means if you’re at a hotel and ordering for delivery (they are listed in our guidebook), that you have no idea what your order total is going to be. It was kind of overpriced for what it was, and I really wish I could have seen the prices to make a more educated food choice. Also, no menu was included with other delivery order to assist with a future purchase.
We ordered a small mac and cheese pizza (it was ok… but it needed… something. Like bacon and jalapenos), spaghetti and meatballs (which my boyfriend wasn’t a fan of, he said it tasted like it had sweetener in it), an italian beef (it was alright, nothing special), and the wise guys bread. The wise guys bread was by far my favorite. The rest of the food lacked distinction and wasn’t memorable, except for the mac and cheese pizza — which was memorable in concept, but flavor-​wise could use improvement.
Wouldn’t order from again unless I didn’t have a choice (not many place deliver here, to my knowledge).

The food here is decent. Unfortunately, it took over one hour for my large group (over 40 people) to be served. We made reservations so our arrival shouldn’t have been a surprise. The lack of accountability of the management staff is also very disappointing. It took multiple complaints in order for them to engage with little improvement. To be fair, I should say that they offered us a discount on the order.

This place is average at best. The sauce was probably ragu and the cheese was low grade. Service and staff was very nice but that as good as it gets. 9.99 for dinner buffet and 2.20 for a soda. I feel ripped off!

Not from around here and thought this place would be good based on the reviews. It took an hour for my pizza to get delivered and it was not good. I paid about 25 dollars (including tip) for a medium pizza! Overpriced and not worth it.

It was pretty good pizza. I went to the lunch buffet on a Saturday. They did have a good variety of pizza. I loved that the slices were cut very small, so that I could get a sample of everything without being stuffed.
My favorite was their original sausage. It was the kind of sausage that it little and crumbly, not the giant gobs that some places put on.
They also had macaroni pizza, cheeseburger pizza, tuscany pizza, pepperoni, hawaiian, sausage and mushroom, taco pizza, Wise-​Guys bread, and dessert pizzas out while we were there.
When my husband and I ate there our bill came to $ 23.95. The drinks were $ 2.20 each, the buffets were $ 8.99 each, and the taxes came to $ 1.57. Plus we had to leave a tip. (Might have been cheaper to not get the buffet and get to take home leftovers).
The buffet times are 11 – 1:30 weekdays, 11 – 2 weekends.

Went here for the dinner buffet and thought it was great. The pizza came out hot, tons of options. Waitress was attentive with drinks, good for kids. Some of the bottled beer was pricey but have beer on tap that is a great price. Not too many none pizza options but not really needed when there’s that much pizza for such a good price. At least during the week not sure when they have it exactly.
Better than happy joes in my opinion.

Best pizza buffet in the QC!

I’m a big fan of Wise Guys, especially their buffet. They are consistently restocking the buffet with a fresh variety of pizzas. I like how the servers will ask what pizzas u like and will then make sure the make it to the buffet.
The servers are attentive and always make sure your drink is bottomless. The only downfall is the price! But I feel this is well worth the 10.00!

Taco pizza was pretty good, good seasoning and and plenty of toppings. However, the pizza was pricey and the coupons don’t help much. Cheese curds were great and wings were juicy and spicy. I will be back to try the pizza buffet (lunch only).

Really good Pizza… Got a ½ Veggie ½ Sausage pizza delivered and it was $ 27 (with a $ 3 off coupon)…OUCH! The pizza was really cheesy without being greasy, which was strange but delicious!

Absolutely the best pizza buffet in the quad cities… PERIOD!!! They have a super friendly staff, and their wings are tastey too!(not spicey but very good flavor)
When we want pizza, this is where we go!
