WOW! That’s about all I can say, purchased the Cod, a fish«sandwich» and a side of fries! All were absolutely amazing! The piece of cod was immense!(That plus more than half of the fries were enough for two meals!). Many many pieces of batter fried fish on the sandwich(the name they call it escape me). Do not get discouraged by the prices/the serving size along with the phenomenal taste will make it well worth your while! Can I wait to share this with others!!! Make it a point to stop here!

Excellent food at a good price. You get a lot for your money that you can’t finish. Definitely coming back.

There is a major problem with the«Fish and Chip Shop» It is not open on Sunday, a day I look forward to fish and chips But seriously, the food I have tried, cod, fish chowder, French fries and some sides, have been excellent. They are usually busy around dinner time, so if taking out, call ahead and get a time frame for your order, as they cook to order, and by that I mean, as they receive the order that orders is made first, and that includes eating in.

Worth driving over here from Disney area. Amazing cod fish n chips. Seafood chowder was great! And Victorian sponge cake dessert topped it all off.

Wife really wanted to try this place, we both had cod with chips and kids had the chicken fingers with baked beans. Fish and chicken fingers were both extremely greasy, fries were also greasy and tasteless(no salt or anything) paper under the food was soaked in nasty oil ! My kids didnt even eat their chicken. I ate some of my fish but the oily taste was awful ! Along with the food being disappointing, the service was also bad! I walked in excited to try the food but left disappointed and with a terrible greasy after taste in my mouth. Wont be back and wouldnt recommend !

Have eaten here twice since arriving. Had fish and chips, both Cod and Haddock, chowder, and cold beer. Definitely a nice surprise in shopping center setting. Food and service are excellent.

This is a solid dining option for good quality food, friendly service and spotless facilities. Cod fish and chips were among the best I’ve had in the U.S., Canada or Britain. No need for tartar sauce. Chips were perfect and of course there is malt vinegar on the table. We also tried a Scottish egg. It was delicious with H&P brown sauce. Wish the Shop was north of Orlando rather than south of Disney, an area I assiduously avoid normally. This place is good enough to bring me down again and again.

Ugh. This place makes me so sad. Why? Because it’s not located in Nashville where I live! We were in town for a week to take the nephew to Disney. We heard about this place & it was only ten minutes from where we were staying in Kissimmee. It’s kind of hard to find the place because it’s located in a strip mall at the very end. They’ve got a little sign out on the curb that says the name which was helpful. We stopped by on a Saturday around noon & we were the only people in the place. I hope they get more business because the place is great. It’s decorated in a very clean & nautical theme. The woman who greeted us & helped us behind the counter was very friendly. She went over the menu & told us about the specials. They were having a special on the bang bang fish, which is fried pieces of haddock, drizzled in a bang bang sauce(which is kind of a honey, spicy sauce). It’s served in a basket with some leaves of lettuce. There was four of us & the woman helping us recommended ordering a large portion of fries to share. The single portion is $ 2.95& the large portion is $ 5.95. I wasn’t expecting much but it came out in a huge bowl with tongs. The fish was probably some of the best I’ve had. The breading was crispy, even with the sauce on it. It didn’t get gushy like some breading will. The fish was hot and flavorful. My parents got the cod & then tried the bang bang fish(haddock) & said they liked the haddock better. I simply cannot go on enough with how much I loved this place & the food. It’s not only fresh, cooked to order, but a good value as well. Next time we are back in the Orlando area, we are coming back!

I first tried the Fish & Chip Shop when my boss ordered it for us for lunch one day. My boyfriend being British had wanted to try it since I told him about it, so finally I got to drag him out of the house to go! So. I don’t recommend getting take away. They do offer it, but the day we ordered it at the office for lunch, by the time we got back to the office to eat it, the chips weren’t good anymore. Definitely better when fresh out of the fryer, NOT after 15 – 20 minutes! As far as eating there, this is the way to go. It is a small shop, but they have a few tables inside and a few outside. You place your order at the counter then they bring it out to you at your table. The service was great, but like any«quick service» restaurant, it’s not the same as a sit down, table service restaurant. They have a small beer & wine selection, including a couple draught beers. There is also a «Specials» menu behind the counter, but I didn’t see it until it was too late! Their curry sauce was delicious for dipping chips into, and my boyfriend was in heaven eating the sausages. I gave him a bite of my Haddock, and he was very disappointed that we had waited so long to eat there! The large size chips is enough for 2 people to split, or for us it was at least. It isn’t horribly priced, but it does seem a bit much… for 2 people, 2 meals and 2 beers, our bill was about $ 50. Overall, I really liked eating there(when I ate there, not take away). The people were nice. The food is good. The place seems very clean.

This place is a true hidden gem. I was staying in the Omni Orlando Champions Gate. There is little around the hotel. After wanting a break from hotel food I looked to Unilocal for some guidance. That’s where I found raving reviews on this spot. The reviews were very accurate. To sum it all up. The food was magnificent. The service was impeccable. The location was great. The prices were fantastic. The facility was squeaky clean. Can you tell I enjoyed it? Ok here’s the details on what I said above. I purchased the cod fish and chips plate. You can choose from cod or haddock. COD is milder and less fishy. The plate comes with fresh cut French fries(chips) and a lemon. The fish looked so perfect that I almost didn’t want to eat it. The tartar sauce tastes like some magical potion in a cup. The staff is fast and super friendly. I only spent $ 13 and had enough food left over for another meal. Overall, if you’re a fish and chips fan then you will absolutely love the fresh and authentic food here. It receives an A+ from me!

Yum yum yum oh Fish & Chip shop thank you for saving me from bland vacation food! After eating at the water park or preparing yet another sub par meal at our vaca condo we needed something the whole group(310yo and 2 adults) could enjoy. Enter Fish & Chip Shop! The portions here are huge so 2 people can share a regular chips and probably a fish too. The kids really enjoyed their freshly made battered chicken fingers and fried shrimp as well. The service here was really friendly and helpful. Our meals were brought out to our table and they checked on us several times. Great spot!

This a casual eatery with excellent customer service. The food was made fresh and it was fried with out being greasy. My picky children had the fish and ate it all(the kids meals come with chips and a side with either fish or chicken). We will be back to try the meat pies and some other items that looked delicious as well.

Came in and the woman at the counter had an English accent which was very cool. She was friendly and took good care of us. Ordered the large Haddock and split it with my co-worker. It was certainly more than enough for the two of us. The fish was good but the batter was a bit soggy and the fries were a tiny bit overdone in my opinion. The flavor of the fish and the tarter sauce was excellent. I seriously want to try some of their other menu items like the meat pies, sausage roll, Scottish eggs, fish burgers and sausages bit I am much too full. Will have to be the next time I am in Orlando in business.

Since we’re dining with an ex-pat, we took his opinion into consideration. He said he didn’t miss much from home except a good fish and chips shop. He said this was a really good fish and chips shop. Everything is kind of a la carte but the chips are meant to share. 2 of us split the regular chips and barely finished. The large could EASILY feed 4 – 5 people! You could tell they were fresh and not frozen. My husband got the regular cod and was presented with a big piece of fish that was plenty to eat. I had the filet of fish burger and it was a perfectly cooked filet topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onion and cucumber. Our British friend got a large fry because we didn’t know any better and curry sauce. Everything was very good. Next time-scotch egg!

Tucked in on the end of a shopping center, this is a hidden gem! We’ve supped here several times and the food and service are consistently great. It is small by Orlando standards, but don’t let that keep you away! Try it, you won’t regret it!!!

I decided on the classic fish and chips on my first trip here. A giant(7 – 9 ounce) piece of cod and the crispest fry job I’ve seen in a long time. The fries(chips) were obviously fresh cut and fried — some were crisp, some were not so crisp. The batter’s a bit bland, which may be authentic to the British style but I wouldn’t know about that. I added a bunch of pepper to suit my tastes better. You have your choice of ketchup or malt vinegar as condiments. The staff are friendly and the owner(I assume) was very forthcoming about his recipes and food. It appeared as if everyone was enthusiastic about what they were doing in this restaurant. Simple fare, well made, hand crafted, and generous portions. There’s nothing not to like about this restaurant. Unless you don’t eat fried foods — then it’s not the place for you. Next time, I’m getting the Scotch egg.

I have to say that these are not the best fish and chips in Orlando, but are pretty good. We came in on a Wednesday night and it was relatively quiet. The girl working behind the counter was very friendly. You place your order at the counter, then they bring you your food. We decided to get two orders of the large fish, one large fries and onion rings for the three of us. The food took about 15 minutes to come out. Not bad, considering it is all made fresh. While the fish was good, it was a bit on the soggy/oily side. The rings were really just batter with a sliver of an onion. Honestly, the best things we had were the fries. They were fresh cut and crispy. The portions are huge and prices are fair. Just keep in mind that all items are ala carte. Also, I would escpec them to play Brittish music as that is the theme, but thats just me. My only comparison to «real» fish and chips are Cooks of Dublin at Downtown Disney, raglan road and the rose and crown at EPCOT. Sadly, all of these are better in my opinion. If you are in the mood for a British treat and don’t want to go to the parks, I would definitely recommend The Fish and Chip Shop.

I tried this little spot while staying at the Omni hotel nearby and had a nice experience. To begin with the owners who are really from England(love the accents, ngl) were so nice and accommodating in helping me make my selections. I took my food to go to enjoy by the pool at our resort and everything was packed away nicely and was hot and fresh when we sat down to eat it. All the ingredients tasted fresh. My only«criticism» I guess would be that the fish tasted a little bit bland to me(although I’m not a fish and chips connoisseur so I don’t know if it’s supposed to be how it was) and I’m also used to having fish and chips with tartar sauce which may also not be authentic(& this restaurant seems to be totally authentic) but a little extra lemon wedges helped me out with that. So, yes, it’s greasy(it’s deep fried food) but to enjoy once in a while, it’s good stuff.
