Do not, under any circumstance, amount of discount, social pressure, knifepoint – anything – go here. Go to Ducky’s and support the local economy. The following points relate to two stores – Davenport, and Evanston, IL. Both are incompetent and unable to successfully process or fulfill orders. The most basic of tasks were outright failures. Best man had to withdraw from the wedding, before our deadline. The man that replaced him couldn’t get measured after multiple attempts because the system didn’t recognize him. I had to broker between managers in two separate locations for three days for them to get it right. The«deadline» we were given to measure, drawn up per one of the stores(Evanston), wasn’t even something that needed to be done according to the next(Davenport), so we were working on an enforced timeline that didn’t even have to happen. The whole model of having multiple pickup and dropoff locations was outright broken. They had no idea how to actually operate the model effectively. Same groomsman was given the wrong price – given my price, not his own.(Different configuration). He was suggested by the store clerks to pay for the entire balance, and not just the initial fee. I was measured, the vest delivered was a large, not a medium, inconsistent with measurements. A groomsman was remeasuredin a separate store, his pants were far too large. Had to be replaced. Overall attitude of the staff throughout both stores have been poor. I’ve had to push them to fix any of the issues. The best part – after so much of this went down, and myself and my fiancé were in the Davenport location, and I was fitted with ill-fitting clothing, our justified complaints were met with a considerable amount of disdain and condescension. «Hey, you should just calm down.» Except we weren’t yelling. We were frustrated and angry. The whole situation was abysmal, front to back. Store people were defensive for everything that went wrong. Utlimately I withdrew from renting anything and just used my own suit(which, you know, fit me) for my wedding. Single worst local business experience I’ve ever dealt with. Never use them.
