Amazing customer service is their goal, and I believe they do a great job. In case you have never been to a Fareway, they bring the groceries out to your car and load them for you. They are much cheaper than other grocery store and if they do not have something you want, ask, and they will try to get it for you. Many people fall for the Hy-​vee fuel saver cards, but if you shop at Fareway you will still save more money paying for groceries and paying full price at the pump than shopping at Hy-​vee and getting «discounted» fuel. They also have the best meat out of any grocery stores. They also will price match if you ever do find a place that has a lower price than them.

Great place. They dont have EVERYTHING that Hy-​Vee or Wal-​Mart does, but they have enought. Closed on Sundays.
