They were helpful and accommodating. They helped me find a ring within my budget. A little sales-​pushy but not too much at all. Definitely better than anywhere else I went. They seemed genuinely excited about our engagement. Top notch service, beginning to end.
If you go anywhere else, you’re crazy.

Diamonds on the Avenue will forever have my business. My –then fiancée, now husband– and I went to DotA looking for engagement rings. We had a ring picked out and put it on lay away. Before we had the ring paid off we were flooded out of our house in Cedar Rapids. We decided we couldn’t afford the ring we had picked out since we didn’t even have a place to live at the time. We called DotA and told them the situation. We went there to see what we could get with the money we had already paid. They had already measured ring sizes of both of us. They knew we were coming to the store that day and had apparently been talking about us. DotA staff/​owners decided to help us out. They told us we didn’t need to pay off the remaining balance of the engagement ring and had a wedding band for myself and my husband picked out and sized before we got there. We paid nothing for our wedding bands. I absolutely could NOT believe what they were doing for us. We were so stressed about our house being flooded and not having somewhere to even call home anymore, and the staff here went out of their way to make our wedding so special. I still get misty eyed thinking of what they did for us.
I try to tell as many people as I can about this experience. Although I believe this store is closed now, the location in Davenport is still open. This place is, without a doubt, one in a million.
