I’ve been here before and it was always tasty and fast but in the last 2 years it has turned into a real dive. The menus are dirty with salsa and torn up, the booths are old and crusty, the nachos were stale and the veggies were slimy. The staff is nice but their place is nothing to brag about

Rancid chips, runny salsa, grease dripping carnitas tacos. Haven’t had that problem at other Aztecas in town.

Food’s average… drinks watered down. Don’t get a Margarita here. Very weak mix and absolutely NOTEQUILA! When I spoke to the server about it, he actually said«yeah yeah»; something about it being pre-mixed. Duh! So I told the Manager and all I got was a nod and«sorry». Really? ?? Poor, poor!

Very poor experience. The place was very unsanitary. They got our food order wrong and our drink order wrong. The food came cold when we told them they just reheated it and gave it back to us. Very over priced for the food quality and atmosphere. Will not be returning very disappointed.

Blah blah blah, repeat what I said about other Azteca. Still pretty good. The food is more Tex-mex, but done very well. The sides are top notch. You can’t beat the flour tortillas, refried beans, and cheese. Recommend: Taco Loco, Quesadilla Ranchera, El Cazuelon(this is excellent)

I haven’t experienced the service issues others mentioned. Chips are good, salsa is excellent and entrees are great. It is a small location so maybe it isn’t ideal at busy times. This is the best Azteca in our book.

Middle of the road, nothing great just average at best. Had the mixed fajitas and it came blended together, not the end of the world but the guacamole and sour cream were enough for barely one serving and they charged extra for extra shells.

Small place in an odd location. Food was plenty and good. The spicy salsa wasn’t spicy. The margarita was really good. Will probably come back here.

I called in a lunch order and came to pick it up. I waited about 45 minutes it seemed they may have forgotten the order. They were super busy so I was not happy but understood. When I got back to the office there were items missing from each entrée. I called to let them know the lady said come back within 7 days and you will have a $ 16 credit. I called from my office before I headed home to get dinner. They passed me to I am assuming the manager. He said he would check and call me back in 2 mins. No call 15 min later. I showed up and asked about the call. He said he called he did not I ordered dinner and received the credit and paid the difference. The register girl and manager both made me feel uncomfortable for even bringing it up. Not friendly or apologetic. I have been in the restaurant business for years and would have never treated regular customers this way. I will be going to Azteca 2 from now on. Their food is better anyway.

This was the best mexican food I have ever had. I thought we had the best in North Carolina with all of the Hispanics opening restaurants, but this place is awesome from the salsa, to the meal itself. Do not miss this food, I’ve eaten mexican food all over the country, and this was tops the three times I ate there while in town!

Found this great restaurant shortly after moving to the quad cities. Good Mexican food at an unbeatable price. The combo fajita plate is great, also the enchiladas(with the white sauce!) are pretty dang tasty!

We arrived a bit early… we thought! Walking in the door shortly after 5 p.m. on a weeknight, customers flowed in behind us steadily. Love, love, loved the colorful murals and atmosphere! Our waitress was on her game and quickly brought out warm chips and some of the best salsa I’ve had in awhile. After perusing the extensive menu for quite some time, my friend ordered a vegetarian combo plate. She really enjoyed it. I ordered the Alhambre plate. Skirt steak grilled with poblano peppers and bacon and served with rice and refried beans. VERY tasty! The prices were really reasonable and the portions weren’t tiny. There is a bar off to the side, but we stuck to water tonight! All in all, I’d say this would be a great choice for Mexican in Davenport.
