Been twice. Both times the order was messed up. The first time I got a completely different breakfast. Not even the pancakes I wanted. Told the waitress and she kind of laughed and said she’d have to get on the cook because she gave the right order. I should have been offered a side of pancakes for free. The second time offered to buy dinner. He couldn’t eat the meatloaf because it was burnt on the bottom so he took it home for fido. Then we saw we didn’t get the rolls that was on the menu and he took the bill and after staring at it for a minute showed it to me. I couldn’t believe it was over 65 bucks. Then realized they had put the cost in the total and again in the tip. Won’t be back.

Stopped here on our way to Winthrop on Father’s Day for breakfast. Despite not being that busy when we got there our order took 45 minutes. I actually got tired of sitting it took so long. Three coffee refills later I had to find a waitress to ask about our food. She was not friendly and went to check on it. Another 8 minutes and out came pure food. I honestly think they had forgotten us. The gravy on my biscuits was actually runny like water. My wife’s pancake was so over done she had to use a steak knife to cut it. The coffee was decent, ham and bacon were really good. We had to walk up to the register to pay as it was taking too long. Wasted an hour of our beautiful day trip here.

This is a great place to stop for a bite before or after a long drive. The blue cheese burger is EXCELLENT, onion rings were delicious. Real hard ice cream Blackberry milkshake for the road. Great service, clean, and comfortable! I will be back for sure!

Although I’m glad this place has reopened, I’m a bit disappointed with the service and quality of the food. I think Darrington residents must be used to sub-par service if they claim this place is absolutely fabulous and well worth it to order off the overpriced menu. And if you speak out publicly and give your honest opinion, the townsfolk will crucify you and make you feel unwelcome and publicly shame you for speaking out. Here’s why I give this place only 2 stars: Prices too high. Yes I understand these people have to make a living. For a family of four to eat dinner with drinks, expect to pay $ 60 and up. And that’s just for burgers and fries. Fries do not come with the burgers… you have to pay extra. $ 15 for meatloaf, mashed potatoes and soggy boiled broccoli. No thanks! Service. I really don’t want to come in and have to wait around while the servers stand around and gossip with the townsfolk or visit with their family. If you’re an outsider, don’t expect fast service. And during breakfast I shouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes for the waitress to refill my coffee while she visits with people. I shouldn’t have to chase someone down to get more coffee. Quality. If I’m going to eat at a hometown diner I expect fresh food made from scratch. Not from out of the back of a truck or pre-made food. I had mashed potatoes with my meal and it’s was that box stuff. I would expect real mashed potatoes for what I paid for my meal. Bottom line is, this place is nothing to write home about. The burgers are very good although pricey. Breakfasts are good too. Yummy biscuits and gravy. If this place can’t take constructive criticism well or accept the fact that people have a right to complain… then I honestly can’t see this place lasting long. Stop by and try this place for yourself though! This is just my honest opinion.

Their name has changed to Bradley’s Diner and it’s a good place to go. It’s a cute small town diner. Good comfort food and good service to boot; What one would expect for a small town.

Love that this great location has re-opened! Great people run the place and this is a fantastic stop after playing in the woods nearby. This is one of my favorite area’s in the world, and now they have a great spot to eat coming or going. I had a really good made from scratch Pea soup, with a grilled ham and cheese. I will be back!
