I wish i could gove them 6 stars. Not because of the food(though the food was excellent) but because of the fantastic staff, particularly the cashier, who was upbeat, funny, and engaging, asking question and genuinley caring about customers. This was a fantastic experience I will be sure to remember next time I come through the area.

Delicious. Stopped at this rest place while road tripping it with my fiancé back to Maine and as I often say, sweet baby Jesus. I was pretty full from eating a ton of other crap I had no business eating but I love me a grilled cheese so I scanned the menu really quick and then I saw her — the Cheeseboy Choco-Melt. Come to mama. It’s basically a white cheddar grilled cheese with nutella on cinnamon toast covered with powdered sugar. It was amazing. My fiancé wasn’t into the cheese and chocolate thing but what does she know, cheese and chocolate are long-time lovers in my mind and here was an example of the amazing product of their love. 10⁄10 would cheese boy again.

So let me start off by saying this establishment is located in the rest station off I-95 north. The people are incredible friendly and the kitchen is visible and clean. I work on the road and finding a place with good food that’s not out of the way is quite difficult so easy on and off a plus. Let’s get down to the food I have stopped a couple of times and have tried 2 or 3 of the well crafted grilled cheeses and I can tell you they only use top ingredients in the grilled cheeses they are melting together here. I am very pleased that when you ask for a suggestion they are quick to tell you they have tried it and suggest adding something to really make it tastier. The steak grilled cheese with peppers and red onions was wonderful and it leave you feeling full but not stuffed. Highly recommended wonderful place five stars easily given

Cheeseboy is generally the highlight of our monthly treks between NYC and RI. There are cheese boy locations at both Darien rest stops(95N and 95S). The menu consists of primarily grilled cheese options, traditional and ones with various meats or veggies. They also have soups(tomato soup yum), cookies, and other offerings. We generally opt for the traditional(classic white artisan with American and muenster cheeses). It’s buttery and delicious and made fresh for you while you wait. The normal size is in the $ 4-$ 5 range and they have a mini size as well. Perfect grab and go food and easy to eat while you’re driving or navigating along route 95. Would highly recommend a bite here next time you find yourself needing a pick me up driving through Darien!

I have never had a better GC anywhere. I always stick to the traditional ingredients, sometimes adding basil. I have never been disappointed. What I love most is their consistency with each order. It is not like one day its okay and the next its amazing. It’s always the same sandwich, always cooked to perfection. As much as I love a gourmet sandwhich which fun ingredients, I come to Cheeseboy because I just want cheese and butter on bread and they don’t fail to provide :). My only knock would be the price. After tax, a sandwhich can be 5 bucks. If you are going to charge me 5 bucks for cheese on bread, then I should at least be getting some sort of wait service or something. I mean, that is why restaurants *used to be* more expensive because you are paying for the atmosphere. Now a days, this isn’t so and now you pay for novelty. Food without the service should be cheaper and I just don’t understand why these fast food places are getting more and more expensive. My husband and I got two sandwhich –traditional and it was 10 and change. That is Crazy. I was very disappointed with that. And that was with one of the sandwhichs being a «small»(I think that’s a new addition).

This place is in a road stop location that is very cool. I had the tomatoe basil grilled cheese which was to die for! A great menu pulled pork sandwiches Chipotle melt pear salads and more. My first time here and it was so refreshing to find a new and exciting fast food place. Immaculately clean you can clearly see it sparkle from afar. Friendly staff. As I’m writing this review I’m raving! I think the manager may have been running the register today August 2 around 12pm. It was a pleasure thanks!

Stopped here for a quick bite/coffee run along I-95 South. A few things in this rest area, including McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Auntie Annes and Sbarro. Cheeseboy jumped out as there are not too many grilled cheese places dedicated to the craft. my other half is nuts for grilled cheese. Just to try it out we got a little grileld cheese with bacon. Delicious! Toasted buttery bread and wonderful cheese(three I think). You can go nuts and add tomato, other cheeses and stuff, but the price will add up. For our«little», as opposed to the regular size, sandwich with bacon, we were charged just under $ 5 with tax I think. Would recommend this place as a different alternative to the other chain places in the rest station. Staff was kind and helpful, cheery even.

Do you love cheese? Do you love grilled cheese? Are you enroute to south west Connecticut/New York? Then go here. Order anything cause it’s tasty. If you want multi-grain, be sure to ask(they only *specifically* serve it with their Veggie Delight, which is true to it’s namesake). The staff is mad chill. You can get a smaller portion because CB cares about you. Legit.

Yes, I know — it’s a rest stop eatery. We went to one a few months ago and really enjoyed it so figured why not and stopped. The food is very greasy but they do have a cool selection of cheese sandwiches. This time we went with the grilled mac n cheese. I liked it but the bacon on top was a bit much. I really wanted one of their soups but they weren’t cooked enough yet to serve. Prices are okay, and the sandwiches come out pretty quickly. Nothing spectacular but fun to get every now and then.

This place was pretty interesting. I stopped here at a rest stop heading down 95 south. The use way to much cheese, which I don’t mind at all. I had Mac n cheese, bacon, and Monterey Jack in between two pieces of toasted bread! Heaven! A little messy but I still managed to eat it in the car. I noticed they had a thanksgiving sandwich with turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce in it. I’ll have to try that next time. Give it a try. I recommend it!

This is the greatest find at a rest stop! The panini sandwiches were so awesome and made with fresh ingredients. The tomato soup tasted homemade. Don’t even think of going anywhere else!

Chanced upon this place during my stop at the service station. Tried the chipotle chicken sandwich which was very flavorful and yummy! Hoping they spread towards Philly area too.
