In the past few years, both the fantastic and legendary Satori in Mobile and East Hill CD in Pensacola have closed, leaving Bay Sound the sole independent record store standing in the our little area. And it’s pretty much the best place ever. Not only is the used & new vinyl & cd selection comparable to that of record stores in any hip enclave of any big city or college town, but it’s also a major social destination. It is the one place left where music lovers gather, and spend hours hanging out and listening to tunes. I’ve met some of my best friends there, and it is where I run into old friends I haven’t seen for ages. Don’t let this treasured establishment slip away.
