It’s the go-to place if you want one stop for many shopping needs. Convenient, if you go early in the weekday mornings, is the best way to describe it. It’s good news and bad. They are hurting other competitors who are trying to occupy the same space. Several big grocers have left town or closed stores, such as Harris Teeter, Piggly Wiggly and Kroger long ago. Tough place to navigate during the holiday seasons, unless you can enter at 3 a.m.

It is shocking for me to be writing this review. I have not frequented a Walmart is a very, very long time. As I find myself living in a small town with limited choices I decided to scope it out. This Walmart has food and even some organic food! Hence the two stars. It is not a wide selection but I was able to buy a few items here. The organic lettuce was in a sorry state so I passed on that. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was a bit busy unfortunately. I think the worst thing about Walmart is the clientele and this has certainly not changed(ladies beware of some scary ogling). All in all, not a bad experience. I was able to go through the express line without waiting. I think I will continue to support local businesses over Walmart though.
