Jalapeño bread is outstanding but the Country White is also awesome. Super friendly staff and though the location isn’t great it’s totally worth coming here.

Jalapeño Bread IS the BEST Yum! My Partner in Crumb-​Crunching thought we could make Sandwiches with this Bread and it seemed like a Good idea until we tasted it! I decided it was too hot for her so I ate the whole Loaf and since this Bread already has Cheese in it and Jalapenos, do I really need to add anything else? NO!!!

Blueberry Scones were Very Nice almost too nice to be a Scone! Maybe the Best Scone I have eaten!

Shorty’s…what a Danville gem!
Breads, scones, cinnamon rolls, cupcakes and cakes. Their jalapeño cheese bread is the best that I have ever eaten. period!
Inside this little family owned bakery are some of the most wonderful tasty treats.
It’s located right off the Piedmont strip between Dick’s sporting goods and Hobby Lobby.
The homemade breads make the best sandwiches. This past Super Bowl party I purchased several loaves of the jalapeño cheese bread for our flank steak sandwiches and the crowd went absolutely nuts over it. It’s now officially part of the yearly ritual.
Every visit to see my son in Danville, Shorty’s is a must for a quick breakfast stop of scones (bluberry, his favorite) and my indulgence into a hot cinnamon roll topped with a heath dose of cream cheese frosting… great stuff.
If you haven’t discovered Shorty’s yet, you better get running… enjoy!

Awesome breads and dips for appetizers, great ground coffee selection; looking forward to trying their house made pizza dough I’ve heard others rave about. Gourmet grilled cheese on their cheddar bread with tomato soup; YUM!

I contacted Shorty’s Bakery for a last minute cake order due to a cancellation from a home based bakery that lacked serious professionalism! This is why I recommend getting your cake from an actual storefront bakery like Shorty’s that answers your phone calls and secures your order. Not only did Shorty’s come through for me but they exceeded my expectations for my cake order… it was exactly like the photo I had sent them and I could not have been happier with their service, skill, price or flavor :) Highly recommend!

Big fan of the jalapeño cheese bread. May have to take a trip soon!
(Oh and they will add extra jalapeño if requested, just ask!)

The croissant is to die for and I love their Italian bread.
I am going to buy more croissant tomorrow, hopefully they have them.

Very bad place to go if your on a diet. Great place to go if you want delicious treats!
