I’m giving T & T nails 2 stars because the salon is clean, has great pedicure massage chairs, and one of their techs, Lily, does a great job on nails. It is hard to communicate with her though as she doesn’t speak any English at all. Now for the bad part, after 2 consecutive bad experiences. The first was when I made an appointment for 9:30AM and stood outside in the cold with another client as the owner arrived 10 minutes late. Not cool when you have people that took the trouble to call in advance to make an appointment! I overlooked it. Next experience I again called to request an appointment for a pedicure and shellac manicure with Lily. Danny, the owner, answered the phone and said Lily was on vacation, but that he had plenty of help on for the day(a Saturday) and that I could come in so I made an appointment for 2:00PM. I arrived on time, the 2 girls were working on other customers. Danny said he would be doing my manicure first, already a sign things weren’t going to go well as usually the pedicure is done first so the toes have time to dry during the manicure. This is preferable, especially during the cold weather when you aren’t wearing flip-flops! The manicure is mediocre at best. The shellac is thin and far enough above the cuticles that it already looks grown out, is so thick at the top it looks like I have acrylic nails, and there are bare spots where he didn’t paint far enough on the sides. In addition, the color is uneven with streaks and he didn’t go over the top edge of the nail to give it a finished look.. During the time Danny was doing my manicure 4 walk-ins came in and he seemed panicked and rushed to get through my appointment to handle them. Why oh why don’t these business owners realize that REGULARRETURNING customers, who call to make appointments are what will make their business successful? Onto the pedicure — worst I’ve ever had. Danny was rushing, not paying attention, more focused on watching what the girls were doing and correcting them. Made me wonder who they were, and if they are even trained and licensed since I’d never seen them working there before. He used the toenail clippers to cut my nails, then did a quick job filing the tops. I kept waiting for him to cut and shape, and to lift and trim the edges to remove the dead skin where I tend to get ingrown toenails but he didn’t. I finally asked if he was going to do this and he started arguing with me saying he did cut them. I explained that he did not, and that I needed the corners shaped. After more arguing he finally did one side of each big toe only, all the while distracted by the waiting walk ins and the other workers in the salon. He didn’t bother with my other toes. To top it off, there was no leg massage, all he did was rub on some moisturizer. I ended up leaving with sore toes with rough edges that weren’t filed properly and again he didn’t paint the tops to blend in the polish. Guess that didn’t matter since I had to cut them myself anyway. This is the only time I have ever left a salon without tipping and I will not be going back. After 2 bad experiences no point in going for a third. This had been my «go to» salon for almost a year, but Danny, as a greedy owner is going to run it into the ground. I had recommended this salon to several friends and relatives and as a result they had gotten 5 additional customers. Sad to say, after what I experienced I don’t think any of them will be going back.

I hadn’t had a pedicure since may… I was so ashamed! My feet were so bad she even had to get the cheese grater out! She was so patient and everyone was super friendly. I will definitely be back again, when I find then time ;)

I only gave this place one star because no stars wasn’t an option. Worst experience I have ever had at any salon in my life. On crutches, I could not get over to the drying tables without ruining my nails. My chair was taken from under me and I was rushed out, ruining my nails– It was then claimed that it was my fault. They then told me I could wait to get them fixed. At this point I just wanted my money back for the horrendous service, which they refused to do. On another note, the manicure itself was mediocre at best. They cut my cuticles too low, overclipped my nails, did not file them in the shape I requested and painted them unevenly.

I had come here once before my appointment on Saturday July 19th, it was relaxing, quiet, my nail guy was slower however did a great job. I returned on July 19th, I made the appointment for 10:30, when I came in it was packed, I was not taken until 11am, the guy who I believe was the owner did my toe polish change, he was loud and almost seemed panicked with how many people were waiting, he wasn’t focusing on my toes, but all the other workers, it was not relaxing at all. The lady charged a customer $ 600 instead of $ 60 on her credit card, the owner claimed he could not refund it and told her to return when she got her statement WHAT?! He ended up writing her a check for the amount and still made her pay for her services after her inconvenience. My toes came out ok, he performed my fill, did a horrible job, they are lifting and sharp, and the sides aren’t painted. He also cut me multiple times. I had asked for gel to be put on top of my nails, he didn’t let me nails dry enough before putting the gel, so now they are cracked and has smudges. He did the worst job I have ever seen. The first time I came here the owner was not here, he completely ruined the experience and I will never return again, he is ruining his own business and should learn how to do nails.

Having recently moved to the area from Boston I was afraid I wouldn’t find a salon that could compete, but T & T Nails exceeded my expectations! The owner, Danny, was very friendly and quickly made me feel welcome. The salon is extremely clean and orderly. Lyly did my nails and it was one of the best manicures I’ve ever gotten — I’m very particular about shape and she did an amazing job. Prices are great, location is ideal and the hours are very accommodating. I will be going back often!

I stumbled upon this nail salon a little while back when it first opened, when I was still working in Ipswich. I gave it a shot, and I’m really glad I did. I’m extremely picky when it comes to my nails, and this place is just great. Clean, quiet, friendly staff. Lyly does my nails and she is wonderful. Overall, I’m a very happy customer. So happy that even though I don’t work nearby anymore, I drive the extra 30 minutes to come here. Definitely recommend T & T! :)
