Prime Roast Beef

Walked in and was (barely) greeted by a girl with glasses who didn’t smile once, or even lift her head off her hands while talking to me. Very bland tone, pretty much tried to get me out if her face ASAP. Not the type of person that should be greeting you when you’re ordering a SIXTEEN dollar lunch. Employees need a tune up.

I order here occasionally and the cheese pizza is normally fine. Tonight, I got the chicken pesto portobello pizza, and it was disgusting. The mushrooms weren’t sautéed or drained first and turned the whole pizza into a watery, soggy mess. They forgot the pesto too. I was so hungry and so tired from a long day I just ate a piece and threw the rest away. It was nasty.

Place is amazing best steak tips I have ever had and all of their salads are simply incredible. Everything we have ever tried here is delicious, however as previously mentioned the salad and tips are so on point its hard to go with something else. This place is well worth the money. Only downside is that I wish they had other locations.

Ok, it’s pricey here, but the roast beef and the steak tips are really good. It’s quality over quantity which is a ok for me. The girls that work the counter are knowledgeable and friendly. I’d like to try the pizza but have yet to do do. Love the steak tip sub.

Best roast beef in the area! Always fresh and serviced with a delicious buttered bun. Salads and pizza are also fantastic. Great location and very friendly staff!

Disappointed with my takeout lunch today. Steak tips were good but the fries were packed under the tips and soggy and the onion rings were even more soggy with not crunch to the outside. I’ve never been here before but it’s always busy so I figured I’d give it a try …15 $ later not worth it

Don’t waste your time. Angry employees. Nasty food. Fries and onion rings are bland, roast beef sandwich was not edible, and the cheese was on the side of the box of my pizza. Stay hungry and don’t go here. One word describes the entire experience YUCK!
My Unilocalers let me down

This is my first time trying their food and I got delivery. I wanted to try a new pizza place near Peabody. When I first called to place my order the women told me it would take 30 mins for delivery. They then called me 5 minslater to inform double check if I understood that the bbq chicken pizza has bbq sauce instead of red sauce. I called back 10 mins later and asked again how long it would take for the pizza to come. I was then informed it would take 30 additional Mintues to arrive. It took a total of 75 mins to get one pizza. The pizza wasn’t even that good and was very overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend.

Great roast beef samich!!! I got the basket, which comes with fries and onion rings!!! Both were great, onion rings were house made!!!

Confession: Grew up night driving from Rockport to Nicks to get roast beef when the munchies kicked in.
We had Gussies in Rockport and Chicks in Gloucester but we knew what great beef was and we were willing to drive for it. Plus who doesn’t like a 1 a.m. one-​eye-​open road trip… oh yeah, our parents (if they only knew…)
Well Prime is Nicks on Steroids. The counter crew is second to none. I’ve seen them whittle down a line of 12 people in 2 minutes. Everything is fresh in their sandwiches and wraps, the beef is always just right, never chewey, onion rings are crunchy. Heaven!
You even get the Cheeboiygah Cheeboiygah SNL crew in the open kitchen. Again, a fun crowd and very professional.
You can call ahead and have your sandwich waiting for you. I’m on the road a lot so that’s what I do.

I’m super disgusted on the service today ! I’ve ordered from you guys almost everyday since I work just down the street. I called to place an order like I normaly do and the girl who picked up the phone was so unpleasant, I asked her a few question about the weight of the grilled chicken that would come with the order and she not only did not know but refused to find out for me, I apologized about the trouble and explained the situation, I’m on a strict diet for a competition I’m doing, she started to guess the weight ranging from 4 oz to 8 oz. CMON NOW ?!
I am in customer service as well, and I would never ask something of someone that I wouldn’t be willing to do myself. I went somewhere else and I’m pleased to say Tom’s was a great choice.

I was visiting family and they went out for awhile so I literally Unilocaled local pizza places. I saw 4 stars for this place and the choice of a bacon & pineapple pizza that seemed very overpriced at like $ 18 which you would think at that ridiculous price it should be good. I took 2 bites into a slice and was disgusted. I don’t know if it was just my pizza or they are terrible at lunch time but I wasted almost $ 20 on a shitty pizza that was supposed to be good based on reviews

A little pricey for a roast beef/​sub shop, but the food is really quite good! The small fries are prob the size of a biggie fry, maybe bigger and a great value! Ask for them well done and they’ll do them super crispy.
Steak tips are really good. Only wish there were more in the dinner!
All of the salads are really good too! The honey chicken wrap is tasty also.

Got a steak tip salad last time that was really good. Will be back at least for that. Priced about the same as everyplace else. Fast service.

Our Unilocalers did not steer us wrong again! We (a friend and I) were in the area doing some shopping and had a craving for pizza so found Prime on Unilocal.
We arrived on a Friday afternoon a bit after lunch (around 1:30 p). There were a few tables occupied by people eating mostly roast beef sandwiches. The gentlemen at the counter were very friendly and greeted us right away. It took us a few minutes to decide as the menu offers many choices.
We decided on the roasted vegetable/​arugula «skinny» pizza, a garden salad and a side of steak fries. The garden salad and steak fries were served first (and they were kind enough to ask). The steak fries were very hot and «meaty». I enjoyed them a lot, my friend prefers seasoned fries but did agree they were good. Garden salad was fresh and plentiful to share.
Our pizza arrived in about 10 minutes and looked amazing. The best way to describe this pizza … it’s like having an arugula salad on flat bread. The crust was light, hot and crispy. Balsamic was generously drizzled over the entire pizza as was shredded cheese. Cheese was also baked in to the crust. It was a little hard to pull apart in slices due to the arugula but very tasty. My friend felt it wasn’t «real» pizza but was happy with the choice.
We would definitely return. Great, friendly service, clean, reasonably priced!

Great buffalo chicken wraps. Amazing chicken skinny Ceasar pizza.
I have only had delivery and have not been into their establishment.
Delivery charge 1.50.
My office orders from here frequently and just about everything has been good.
I’ve had burnt chicken 1x. aside from that, no other complaints.

Amazing pizza (margarita), chicken noodle soup was tasty, portobello burger delicious and the harvest wrap salad was tasty as well. The guy I placed the order with was very nice on the phone and in person. It was very cute and clean inside. I’m really happy I tried this place.

The best Greek steak tip salad I’ve ever had, but to honest that’s the only thing I get there now because the rest of the stuff on the menu is the same stuff you can find anywhere so that’s why I only gave 4 stars. maybe if they added more variety to the menu I’d try other things
UPDATED: ok I originally gave it 4 stars but lately they are taking forever to deliver,(we order almost every day) they always forget utensils or the bread or give wrong dressing but the worst part is that they raised their already high prices. unfortunately I cant be paying 13 bucks for a salad unless I’m at a restaurant sorry but I’m going to find another take out place
