It was a packed house but team work helped make it a great experience. Our main waitress(Brenda) was great even when I didn’t like my food. And! They sang happy birthday to someone in our party. Try the wines and don’t forget the dessert!

I am a huge fan of Olive Garden but this place is not so good compare to other locations I’ve been. The food was terrible. The Pasta was dry and the Salad wasn’t fresh. The only good thing I can say on this place is the service which was decent.

Go here every week … The food always takes my breathe away! SOGOOD! The waiters are very friendly and always provide refills without even asking. One thing I have noticed every time I’ve gone is the wine glasses being dirty! Always have to request new ones.

Many years ago, when the only Olive Garden around was in Manchester, NH, going to Olive Garden was an almost upscale experience. Maybe it’s just a major discrepancy between one franchise location to another, but going to this location in Peabody/Danvers is a not only nowhere near upscale, I’ve had better dining experiences at fast food joints. The breadsticks are why most people go here. They were always soft, freshly baked, and delicious. You’d want to eat a whole basket. The last few times I were here they were hard, stale, and covered in so much garlic salt I felt like my tongue dried up. The other major selling point is the endless salad, which admittedly is fairly decent overall. But it was so drenched in salad dressing, I couldn’t eat even one plate full, let alone an «endless» amount. All of the appetizers tasted like reheated frozen processed junk. And I noticed on a drink coaster that they made fun of jarred sauces and talked up the fact they made their sauces fresh daily. After eating my meal, I think they should give jarred sauces a look. For an Italian restaurant, their marinara was garbage. No flavor, random chunkiness, and it’s poured on top of pasta only rather than being properly tossed with the pasta. Really everything was bad. The server was actually good though, thankfully. But looking around, the rest of the staff look like they’re from the island of misfit wait staff. No one looked professional, and we’re all standing around chatting in the open. Past servers were no where near as good s this one. Others we’ve had were outright rude and not at all attentive, getting orders wrong and not apologizing for it. I recommend you go anywhere else than here.

Frozen lettuce in my salad… A fly in my shrimp scampi. This is NOT a joke, this is what actually happened to me during my dinner. I was appalled and offered a refund. I can not even believe this happened to this day… –10 stars. Although their frozen bread sticks were cooked well and I ate them… but I think everyone likes those breadsticks.

I ate there several times last year when I was a pasta pass holder. Excellent service and wheel chair accessible. Food was great! I love it here.

I had lunch at this location last week and the food and service was excellent. I have the chicken parmegana and it was quite good. I’ve never had a bad meal at any location of The Olive Garden and I’ve eat at several of them in several states.

If I could give this place no stars I would!!! Horrible from beginning to end! Hostess didn’t even look up to greet! Service sucked!

We hadn’t been to an Olive Garden in a couple of years and this was our first visit to this particular one. The service was amazing so I’m surprised the reviews were so terrible. Nessy, our waitress, was fabulous. She catered to our every request, and with our very picky son it was much appreciated. The food was great and we were in and out in a reasonable time. Very nice experience!

We stopped by in during the odd time between lunch and dinner. The host stand was filled with people. Yet, we were not greeted in a friendly way. They were all too busy with their head sets. When we were taken to be seated they tried to sit us in the middle of the restaurant with our 2 year old daughter who would need a high chair. We didn’t want her in the middle of a busy walk way so we asked to be seated at a booth, to which we were told no. So we opted for a table that was less out of the way than the other table. After we were seated it must have taken at least 10 minutes until we were greeted by our server. And when were were, he took our order and then took it again because he had forget what we ordered. Another five or ten minutes went by and another server came to us and told us that she was taking over for the last server for some reason. And then she tried to take our oder yet again. At which point we told her that we already ordered. To be honest, the menu seemed expensive for what it is. I wasn’t in the mood for a big meal but the menu only had full size entrée, salads, or appetizers. I wasn’t that hungry so I was not going to order a large entrée, I wasn’t in the mood for a salad so the only choice I had was a an appetizer. I ended up ordering a flatbread which was very small and horrible. It actually had martini olives which just seemed wrong. I could understand more traditional marinated olives but not canned martini olives. I had two of the six little slices and then decided it wasn’t worth it. In the end, we paid for this horrible experience, left, and got something to eat someplace else. I will never go back…

The only decent thing about this place was the service. The hostess and our waiter were both very friendly and welcoming. However, the food did not taste fresh and the atmosphere felt grimy. I was given a dirty fork and there was food on my seat when given our table to sit. I wouldn’t go back.

Our second time was not nearly as good as our first. Walked through the front door the hostess looked less than thrilled not welcoming at all. Our server was not good(I think her name was Katelyn or Caitlin maybe Kate) was taking better care of another table and once our meal was delivered she never came back to check on us. Fortunately another server came over(older lady I think her name was Robin retired teacher) she was so much nicer and helpful. The older server got us lemons, was super friendly and got us our check. Our server disappeared, never came over for refills and I could clearly see her and she was doing nothing. I absolutely did not leave a good tip and to be honest I really wish I gave the 20% tip to the other woman who deserved it so much more. None of the servers seemed friendly at all.

Stopped in for a quick lunch w my mother today and will most likely never return. We were greeted and seated in the empty restaurant quickly and pleasantly… and that is where this story ends. No one ever came over. Several servers walked by and avoided eye contact. The hostess walked by saw that no one had been to the table and went back to chatting at the host stand. I mean, I know it’s only Olive Garden but not one person acknowledged that we were even there. Not even a «you’re server will be right over» They did find time to thank us when we decided to get up and leave though.

Went here for my birthday and was seated very quickly with a short wait. Our waiter was very patient with us ordering our food and accommodating with our questions. Love love the breadsticks and the salad before the entrée tasted great. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana with the Sicilian Cheesecake for dessert and all was delicious! Will come back again

Horrible service. Multiple items that we attempted to order they didn’t have. The last items that I ordered I was told«we’re so sorry, but we’re out», but I wasn’t informed until everyone’s food had been served. I ate breadsticks and the leftovers of my daughters pasta. Barely an apology from staff, and no offer to make it right. Was never my favorite restaurant, but now I’ll never be going back.

As a family we were starving so we decided to stop in at this Olive Garden for lunch. When we showed up the place was busy but we were quickly seated at our table. When our waitress arrived she was very sweet and personable. Here name was Kim and she was one of the best waitresses we have had at an Olive Garden. At our table we all ordered the never ending pasta special and we were not disappointed. We all ate until we were stuffed and the food was decent overall. In the end we enjoyed our meal here but have to say that the best part was the service we received.

The first time I came to this particular Olive Garden the food was pretty good and the service wasn’t bad at all. However one of my dates for the night found hair in her bowl of soup. Of course she got a new bowl but by then nobody wanted to eat anything. The staff was however polite about it but still hair in food is completely inappropriate. The second time I went there(I decided to give it a second chance) the service was lacking and the salad was a little weird tasting. Wish it could have been a better experience.

Standard Olive Garden dining experience. The food is meh and obviously you can find much better Italian food in the North Shore. I love the salad and breadsticks, but I forgot how salty the breadsticks taste(holy sodium!). The food comes out in about 10 seconds… so if you are in a rush, you could easily eat here in only 30 minutes. The real highlight was our waitress, Kim. She was really sweet but not overbearing. I probably won’t return to Olive Garden anytime soon but it did serve its nostalgic purpose as it reminded me of being a teenager. Thanks, OG.
