Horrible place went there today the manager John is extremely rude the way he talks to the staff is terrible they wonder why they get bad reviews well lead by example if the manager is that unhappy then the people that work there are not gonna be happy nobody friendly there it like pulling teeth trying to get help. Will shop at micheal next time. My experience there was horrible from management down.

Overall I give A.C. Moore 2 stars. I’ve never given a negative Unilocal review before but this is necessary. Why not only one star? Well, it’s convenient to get to and it’s a one stop shop for most craft stuff. They have a lot of coupons and sales because the mark-up on the products are high– never pay full price. Custom framing is horrendous. I’ve never experienced such awful customer service. They were very rude and inflexible and over priced. I will NEVER work with them again. Check out American framing company online or Mingo framing in Beverly instead.

Despite what others have said, I find the staff very friendly for the most part with the exception of a few instances which I chock up to just being very busy. The selection could use some work, especially in the variety of Reeves paint colors. Other than that, I’m generally really pleased with my ac moore experience at this location, as is the family. We always get treated fairly well and usually leave with what we came looking for.

AC Moore has stuff. The stuff you can’t get anywhere else(or I, not being particularly arts and craftsy, don’t know where to get anywhere else). Paints and canvas for daughter’s art class? check Little wooden boxes? yep. Mid-to-low quality fake flowers up the wazoo? Yes! Patches, sequins, fake blingy blingy for your clothes? Paper? boxed kid art projects? strange supplies for weird food/art/craft transcendent project I’m not sure I’d at all want to eat? Scrapbooking doo-dads? Yes. Yes. Yes.. .and so much more. yes, the store is sometimes dirty and looks like a drunk and disgruntled house elf f*&&^% with the inventory. Sometimes the inventory is fine. Sometimes the people working there are helpful, sometimes.. not so much. Frequently the lines are long to check out, and not all registers are open. That being said, it is useful and has a reasonable selection of wide range of craftsy stuff and touches enough on the sewing and art worlds to keep a dilettante happy.

Solid place. I go here a lot cause they always have coupons on their website. Seriously, NEVER pay full price for anything here. If it’s not already on sale for 50% in the store, there’s a coupon for usually 40 or 50% off any one item on their website. Obviously this means there’s some mark-up, but the coupons and sales do actually lower the price below what it should be. They have direct access into their store from the parking lot which I like, I hate having to walk into the mall. But if you are inside, there’s an entrance there too. Usually pretty easy to find what you’re looking for, and even though all the workers seem to be total spazs, they are all pretty knowledgeable with the stores layout. Pretty solid place for many crafts and art stuff. Again, bring a coupon though.

Horrible! I used to shop here often, but find the store has gone downhill significantly in the past few years. The store is filthy, very unorganized and the service people/cashiers are rarely friendly or helpful. The shopping carts are all in rough shape(or broken) and often left out in the elements, making them wet and dirty. Most of the product line(Stamping/Papercrafting) is outdated and over-priced and they are not at all up to date on the newest product lines or trends. They also no longer advertise through my local newspaper, which is another disappointment. I find it a shame to see it go downhill, as it could be fabulous with crafts being such a popular hobby. You would think with a newer Michael’s just across the road, that AC Moore would be striving to be competitive, offer a friendly, clean and well-stocked store. Sadly, that is not my experience and it’s why I no longer show there.

I don’t understand these very low reviews. I’ve taken alot of art classes and have always come here to get my supplies and they have alway had everything that I’ve needed. There is also just alot of fun craft stuff to pick up just for fun. I’ve crocheted alot and always pick up yarn here. My mom loves coming here to pick up holiday decorations. The prices are always very fair and also they constantly have sales on items here and there so you may get lucky. There’s alot for kids to do as well and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I’ve always come here for my art needs and I will continue to do so

I only come here when I am making candy because they have the melting chocolate I like the most. There are always lines at the registers like three or more people deep. I’m not sure why the checkout are so slow but it seems like it takes forever so I buy as much as i can carry so I don’t have to come back soon!
