Run by Colby Phillips and Jacob Nash, two young and enthused outdoorsmen who will make certain that you have a great hunting experience. Their cell phones are(706) 255‑9524 and(706) 255‑6372 respectively. They offer some of the best flying bobwhite quail, pheasants, and chukars that I have hunted. They have a variety of fields to hunt and are continuing to develop the land. They will soon have a wooded area to hunt if you enjoy shooting in pine trees. We shot a hilly area with great cover for the birds. Nicely cut trails made walking easy. They have flat fields as well as the hills if you prefer. They offer guided hunts with dogs or you can do bring your own dogs if you like. Colby and Jacob will guide for you typically if you visit on a weekday. Weekends might get busy, in which case you will get a seasoned guide who can treat you to a great hunt. They offer memberships but can put a hunt together for you on the fly if you want. We called on Friday for a Monday hunt and were pleased to find that they could accommodate us. Saturday we called to switch to Tuesday. No Problem! They offer a standard ½ day hunt for $ 300 with 20 quail. We asked for 10 quail and 12 chukar, again — no problem. The dogs were very well trained. Stayed on point until birds were flushed, never spooked a bird, stayed out of the way of our shots, and were great a finding downed birds. Up to three hunters per guide are allowed. I would suggest that you also drop $ 60 to $ 100 as gratuity for your guide. If you are as pleased as we were that gratuity is going to be at the high end. We showed up a bit early and went over to Valley Sporting Clays and shot their 5 Stand to warm up. If you are interested, they have a nice sporting clays course that is challenging… I have been to numerous preserves around Georgia and will promise that this is one of the best values and has some of the nicest people that you will find anywhere. I highly recommend trying a hunt here.
