So don’t get me wrong because I didn’t actually make it to the bed and breakfast. I wanted to write this review as a caution for others. I booked this bed and breakfast because it was close to blue mountain and cheaper to stay in than elsewhere. The plan was to arrive on the 31st and stay to the 4th. So I placed an inquiry through their website to book a room and I called several times(about 5) leaving voicemails and finally got a call back. I was told to leave my card and that we were all set but that I would not be charged yet because it had been so warm out, and the lady was nice enough to tell me she would call if there would be no snow on the mountain. Well the week before it was still warm so I called to cancel myself. This same lady then told me that if I didn’t not reschedule this season that she would charge my card. When I asked what kind of policy this was she told me it could be found on their website when I booked. This was silly because their website is out dated and there is just a form to request a room. Once the form is submitted the reservations are made over the phone when they finally decide to answer or call you back. So there was nothing online that indicated that if you cancel you must rebook and this also was my said over the phone. Once booked or cancelled you also wont be sent email confirmations. Beware of this place. Oh and of course, I cancelled this card that she said she would charge if I did my rebook by March.
