After three visits, all for the Duck Flurry, Waunakee continues to be excellent. A very challenging course, at a great time of year (we’ve always had really awesome weather for a day outside) and with extremely friendly staff plus plenty of giveaways (the three year tally includes 3 boxes of shells, a cleaning kit, a screwdriver set, 3 bags of duck decoys, and a million candlepower spotlight, just from door prizes) — all of those things keep us going back. I know I have the second weekend in September booked on my calendar on a perpetual basis. There’s even pretty good burgers, brats, and chicken sandwiches for sale, no need to leave to grab a good bite.
I can’t recommend it enough.
