This quaint and yummy kolache «shoppe and bakery» was recommended to me by a co-​worker that lives nearby, and I had to strategically plan my visit due to its long distance from my home. That being said, the drive was definitely worth the effort! Pay close attention to their hours of operation which can also be found on their facebook page. I was warned that they sell out quickly due to their kolache’s popularity.
I ordered and recommend the following (based on tasting): boudin (!), ham and cheese, sausage, apricot, apple and lastly, a classic cheese kolache. The kolaches varied in price depending on the type.
I was offered to dine in, but I declined and brought the kolaches home where they warmed up perfectly in my toaster oven a few hours later. I hope to be back again in the near future!

Great little kolache shop in Danbury that I can honestly say, beats anything else I’ve had around in Brazoria Co and pretty much in Houston too.
