I called Chabla Window Cleaning after I Googled for a service in my area. On the phone, Julio quoted $ 300 for 14 windows but when he arrived with 2 women he said that it would be more work and more money because I had storms and screens. We settled on a price of $ 380, and I agreed to have my house power washed as well for a price totaling $ 600 with the windows. They were at my house 4 for hours and they worked hard, but the quality of their work was most inferior to other window washers that I have had. They left smudges and dirt on the corners of the interior windows, and entirely avoided hand washing the exterior, relying on the power washing machine which did not remove the dirt. When they said they were finished, the exterior windows were dripping wet, but Julio said that they would air dry clean and shiny. Not so. The windows in the front of the house were done right, so I paid Julio the agreed amount of $ 600. They left. Upon closer inspection of the second floor rear and side windows, I realized that the upstairs windows were very dirty and wet. Large puddles of water remained on my wood floors in the upstairs bedrooms. I contacted Julio and told him that I was dissatisfied with the job, and asked if he could come back. He agreed to return the following day, but did not show up. He cashed the check for $ 600. Something else that I found to be inappropriate was that the women workers had left a large, heavy black garbage bag of their personal garbage at my house. When inspected I discovered the bag to contain soiled cushions and pillows along with their other garbage. Gross! I strongly do NOT recommend Chabla Window Cleaning Services, LLC. I prefer to use Arco Cleaning Services in Bedford Hills, NY, but they were booked solid, and I needed the job done right away.

I was very disappointed with the service given by this vendor. After having been quoted one rate over the phone, when they arrived he asked me «do you want this cleaned, or do you want this super cleaned?». What kind of question is that to ask? If it was a basic cleaning I could do it myself. When I responded that I wanted it «super cleaned», he said the rate would go up by $ 40. It’s a hassle for me to get over to this apt to let people in, so I negotiated only a $ 20 increase, in the hope that the place would truly be «super clean». No such luck. He and another woman were at it for about 2 hours and then he told me they were finished. Keep in mind this was an empty apt — no furniture to work around, and it was already somewhat clean. Luckily, I decided to do a little inspection. Turns out their version of a stove cleaning meant just cleaning off the top. They had never even opened the stove. Plus, they didn’t lift the stove top, because if they did they would have seen the gunk underneath. I pointed it out to the guy. After a heated discussion between him and the other woman, she stormed out and sat in the car while he cleaned the stove. I only inspected the big items though — the stove, the fridge and the bathroom. After he cleaned the stove, I didn’t have time for another inspection so we settled up and left. Only later did I see a number of things that were not cleaned. For example: — The top of the fridge — The top of the stove exhaust hood still had grease on it — The cabinet interiors had not been cleaned — The cabinet fronts were still sticky from greasy fingers — While the window ledges were wiped, the windows themselves were not cleaned Not long ago I had paid $ 40 less to have a similarly sized apt cleaned by someone else. I should have waited until that person was available. So be warned consumer — just because they have a decent website doesn’t mean you’re going to get a quality job.
