Jack In the Box

I like Jack in the Box. This one has a great staff and the food is good. The prices are in line with the rest of the restaurants. I also like that the drive thru is open 24 hrs a day. I love the curly fries and tacos-​Yum.

I come to this location often. 50 percent of the time they don’t have excellent customer service but are not rude. The other 50 percent of the time they are EXTREMELY rude.

So, I’m not a huge fan of fast food (except In & Out), but I found myself here after a concert with some friends haha.
I’ve had Jack In the Box before and have never been a big fan of the food. This last time I was here I just ordered curly fries and yes they were good and greasey. I do love me some curly fries. They just taste better curly, right? And the curlier the better haha.
Anyways, I try not to go to places like this, but sometimes you just can’t resist some curly fries when it is late at night.

So I drive here to get myself and my sick sister food, I live about 10 min away. I pull up to the order screen and order my food. The person taking my order just can’t seem to get it right and it takes 3 – 4 times of me clearly stating it to finally get it correct. So I pull forward, I pay, the guy gets me my food, asks if I want any sauce, I say ranch and hot sauce and I leave. I drive all the way home when I realize that he didn’t give me my coke, I check the receipt and see that I paid for it, so now I’m annoyed that I have to drive all the way back to get what I paid for. So after the 10 min drive back, I walk inside to a completely empty restaurant. I get to the counter and I literally wait a minute and a half before anyone can bother to look up and see that I’m standing there. The same guy who I just got my food from ten minutes before looks at me and asks if I need any help. I say that he forgot to give me my coke and he says «oh yea large coke» and hands me a coke sitting off to the side. He asks me if I would like another one and I think «Cool this guy knows that he messed up and is offering me a free soda to make up for it» I say yeah I could go for a sprite as well so he makes me a Lg sprite and I go to grab it and he goes to take the coke. Realizing that he has no intentions of making up for his mistake I tell him that I thought he was going to offer me a free sprite to make up for this and he stares at me dumbfounded at my request. So I say whatever get my coke and leave to drive the ten minutes back home. So now we’re fourty minutes into my jack in the box experience and I finally get home to eat my food with my sister. I open up the bag and see that one of my fries was put into the bag upside down. Cool. So now I put the fries back into the fry pouch and deal out the chicken sandwiches to my sister and I. We each like to put ranch dressing on our sandwiches so luckily the guy gave us two ranch dressings. I go to open mine but WAIT. It’s already opened. There’s a big noticeable hole in the top of the pouch. So there goes my ranch dressing. Next, I bite into my fries and they were completely stale so I can’t eat them. They’re just gross. And my tacos? Soggy. Couldn’t eat them either. My sister felt the same exact way and to add the icing to the cake, she found a hair literally a foot and a half long in her chicken sandwich. DISGUSTING. So now I’m out my time, my money, and my dinner. Thanks jack in the box.

Your typical Jack in the Box with fast service but BEWARE! They gave me EXPIRED sour cream (that I of course had to pay extra for) with my tacos! :(

This Jack in the Box is pretty good. The staff is considerate, the food is pretty good and the restaurant is never dirty per-​say. All over not a bad spot for some quick, cheap eats.

Good enough food for a reasonable price. It was a small location and we stopped because I was on our way home from the beach.

Should be called– crap in the box. Spent $ 14 on 2 «sirloin» burgers, 2 med. drinks and 1 med fry. The burgers were extremely salty and dry, no flavor. Fries were like McDonald’s, generic. Place was dirty and had a creepy layout. I realize this is fast food but you could do a lot better for a quick burger and fries. This was no bargain.

Fast service, a small spot but good enough. Fast food in a world of over priced burgers in the Dana Point area. People who work here, eat here. The food for the rest of us as I heard it from one local blue collar patron. This fast food establishment is located on a street with several other fast restaurants and is the only set of locations within seven miles of any others like it.
